The little bit I saw the game was getting close and for at least the third time this season Jarvelainen stepped up and started scoring 3s etc when needed

As I usually get these wrong....flyers to dominate from start to finish and win comfortably I think your run of bad predictions might be about to change! I would've predicted Flyers had it been in Bristol. Being in Plymouth makes this much more difficult to call. Guess I kept my usual standard of predicting up gonk haha

So Zac scores 11, more than Payne and Howard together. He has more rebounds than either one of them. So Zac BASHERS how about your 2 stinking imports. Are the imports in the BBL the weakest EVER this season. Scorchers are rubbish this year. Come on let’s bash the imports.

He also had more fouls and turnovers.
For what it's worth I like Zak, he's a solid back up centre, that's all. Payne did fine, just a ghost call got him ejected and banned

Mr Mate, these imports are not as good as last year. Why and why are they not being moaned about?

Fully agree Zak did well today ( however Payne got two unsportsmanlike like fouls, that baffled everyone and ejected from the game early on so I should hope Zak had far better stats ) and Javis did poorly ( again, some may say). I don’t think it’s zaks fault he gets the stick he does, he should be a bench player and would be a very very solid bench people. I can’t help but think just one American big to replace Jarvis we would be doing even better.
I will say today Okiki and Ubiaro were so important today in taking in turns of hussling mcloud and that was the key today. I personally can’t wait for Dylan Costelloe to come back his hustle and defence with ubiario will be so key for us rotating. I think we are close and have come along way from last season.
I think get Dylan back, get an American big in with American stats to help Zak and I don’t think we even have our full European import slots taken up.
Joonas is also such a class act he is incredible !
I also felt so sorry for the Bristol fans today traveling all the way down l, granted only 2 hours but still money to watch the refs ruine the game for the paying public it was an awful awful performance. It takes nothing away from our win, again it helps when flyers only have 8 players and when the manager doesn’t trust atleast one of those players a 7 man rotation was always going to be hard.

Serious question do we need to cut imports as currently constructed this is a play off roster as we are better then the sharks, wolves, scorchers rocks, royals and on par with the giants and nix is it worth the expence when to bring in a guy who will probably improve us slightly but not massively or hope javis improves?

So you ARE happy with second rate. NONE of the good teams in the BBL over the last 25 years have had crap Americans. Americans are 2. A Penny and you had decent ones last season, so why not bring them back. Over 55% of Americans out of College last one season playing Pro, so I quests you have 2 more to add to that stat.

Personally I would only ever enter something to win it/compete the best we can. If we can add better then why wouldn’t we. If I offer you Cory Dixon now in place of javis you’d say no ?!

Like you say bagger they're 2 a penny, how much do you expect to get so cheap? Do I think Javis is great? No, do I think he can do a job? Absolutely. We have 2 players carrying the scoring load comfortably. So who do you want taking less shots for this new American to score? Donte or Joonas shooting less?

They had 36 points in the paint compared to our 50, you think you get that disparity without a big inside? He hasn't been scoring well but still averaging 8 and 8 a game for a rookie isn't awful

A lot of the American rookies as we would call them come from programs where they played on a very high level and some of those same teams would blow out a lot of the BBL teams and that’s the truth. When these players come over to Europe to play, I simply suggest that they are ready to do what they are use to doing when they were in college and that’s playing on a high level. Too often they are labeled as rookie but in all honesty should just be a label for them just being in the BBL and nothing more than that. There is tons of players who go straight out of college into the BBL and averaged 25+ per night on a consistent bases and won many games.

Look at the league and pick a player, check their college stays against now. Howard is averaging more points and rebound this year in the bbl compared to last year in college

So why sign a rubbish player. Look at Giants imports. They are making a difference for them and I am glad. Will finish higher than Raiders and Scorchers because of them. It like going into a sweet shop and choosing pick and mix.
