Sharks now in massive trouble ! With eagles twice, royals and Manchester away. Raiders if they can win there two home games have the head to head over sharks, could sharks miss out !?! I think Retsek called this scenario back in jan/Feb tbf, it’s not done yet but Sheffield schedule looks tough from here

Obviously with Eagles, riders and Lions all but confirmed in the play offs that leaves 5 spaces. Taking away Wolves and Scorchers as being to low to make a challenge that leaves 7 teams battling for the final 5 spaces: Royals, Sharks, Phoenix, Raiders, Rocks, Giants and Flyers. Below I have a compiled a list of the final games for those teams, let us know what you think your team will do in the comments or all teams and who you think will be the two teams to miss out. London city royals - 4th - 32 points G/w 28 - A vs Sharks G/w 28 - H vs Glasgow G/w 29 - H vs Cheshire G/w 29 - A vs Flyers Sheffield - 5th - 32 points G/w 28 - A vs Giants G/w 28 - H vs Royals G/w 29 - H vs Eagles Glasgow - 6th - 30 points G/w 28 - A vs Royals G/w 28 - A vs Surrey G/w 29 - A vs Wolves G/w 29 - H vs Raiders
Plymouth - 7th - 30 points G/w 28 - A vs Lions G/w 28 - H vs Flyers G/w 29 - A vs Rocks
Bristol - 8th - 26 points G/w 28 - A vs Wolves G/w 28 - A vs Raiders G/w 29 - H vs Royals G/w 29 - A vs scorchers
Cheshire - 9th - 26 points G/w 28 - H vs Giants G/w 28 - A vs Lions G/w 29 - A vs Royals G/w 29 - H vs Wolves Manchester - 10th - 26 points G/w 28 - H vs Sharks G/w 28 - A vs Cheshire G/w 28 - H vs Riders G/w 29 - No game Rule out Giants now IMO And rule sharks, rocks and Royals in. They've still got work to do but I think they will get the win(s) they need I'm saying one of Nix, Raiders and Flyers will be the other team to miss out now Flyers have 2 "easier" games v Wolves and Scorchers to come and so you can argue their 9th position is false Assuming they win those 2 - the Raiders v Flyers game is huge Flyers also have H2H already over Raiders and Nix. Nix must beat Giants next game AND get more wins It's really hard to predict where this ends up If I were a Nix or Flyers fan I would be a bit worried that although Raiders still have Rocks away to play - it's last game of season and they will have nothing to play for by then So a very tough game on paper becomes far more winnable for Raiders

The main thing for me is that we (Flyers) have given ourselves a chance. Important 2 points in the previous weekend Lions, Rocks, Lions series, followed by win v Giants on Saturday. We are in the mix, and playing better. Whether it’s enough I dunno. Enjoying the ride.

This is a lot simpler now in terms of which teams DONT qualify at least
Giants Scorchers Wolves
Already out
Flyers have to win BOTH their last games (Royals at home then Scorchers away) AND need either Nix to lose (at home to Wolves) or Raiders to lose (away to Rocks) in order to edge either of them out now
I can't see Nix losing at home to Wolves
So it's Raiders or Flyers to miss out.
And Flyers need to beat Royals to put pressure on Raiders to have to win at Rocks

As a Cheshire fan I'm almost torn between wanting Flyers to lose tonight (which would guarantee Cheshire's play off place) or a Flyers win (which would mean a great crowd & atmosphere for the 'must win' game against Wolves on Sunday, and taking that win would mean we finished above Royals).
I actually fancy the latter scenario! But with Surrey beating Bristol on Sunday just in case!!

Interesting approach My question is: How many fans will know (without being told by the announcer at the game itself) that Sunday would be a must win game? (If flyers did win tonight) I personally reckon at least half a Riders crowd have no idea what any game might mean in the bigger picture. They are just there to watch that game and hope they win at the time It's the season ticket holders who know how much a game means or not? What do you guys think?

Must admit would like to finish above Royals (and think we deserve to after 3-0 for the season) but Wolves aren’t the whipping boys they were earlier this year with TG.

Cheshire have a big following on Social Media, and are well covered in the local press. I think word would certainly spread and the crowd would follow - I personally like the idea of a big 'must win' game.
And really like the idea of finishing above Royals.
Cheshire also tip off later than anybody else and could be tactical depending on results between now and 17:30 on Sunday. Don't think they would do this, but if the coach had a preference of playing Lions, Riders or Eagles depending on the result would he play 'tactically'. So if Bristol lose one of the next 2 for example and play off was confirmed for Cheshire whatever their result, could they think...I'd rather play Eagles than Riders, or visa versa. It's one reason I think all the final games should be played at the same time on the same day, the current situation of teams finishing their season last Friday (Giants) vs. Cheshire playing 3 times since then doesn't sit right with me.

It would be criminal if Cheshire missed out at this stage. They've deserved a spot this season.
Does Ben Thomas still have his doubters?
PS - How good has Latinovic been please? I think the learned Mr. Routledge said he's on course to finish top ten all time 3pt %?

When he gets on a shooting run he never looks like missing. Was rightly voted the clubs MVP for the season. Was surprised to see CJ on this sites MVP list, especially as he only arrived around Christmas. Norl has really stepped up these past few games, has stopped the silly turnovers and has been hitting 3's for fun. And Louis Sayers can always be counted on to sink a shot when it matters - made up to see him sign again for next season. In fact, I'd like to see most of them re-sign!

It does vary from club to club, but a good percentage of attendees neither know or care. It's day out and a bit of light entertainment. I guess it's up to the club to really drive home that point and build the intensity.

I take your point though. He's been a great signing and he is the team's (rather efficient) top scorer.
