No.15 ... the one with the hair Tigers last season in the BBL Riders dominated the season Rocks moved to the Emirates Jets became Nix and MK Lions moved to London I'm pretty sure I've been to Knowsley twice ... still not sure If I was at that game !! A very strange season indeed !!

The very same sadly haha. Christ that team was bad. just shows how bbl standards have improved! This season's been the most competitive in ages to be fair and its been fun to watch. Not sure the title race is over yet either. Playoffs should be great.
But I reckon we'd have beaten that Leeds team from last year - the battle of the who's less sh*t!!!!!!
My real problem with the whole situation was that I was a Whatsbevver who played basketball - not a basketball player who Whatsbevved haha!

tbh, who am i to judge, but would it be fair to say that was probably the worst team in bbl history?

If I remember right there was a big difference between the tigers who finished the year and those that started. A few close games at thd and and think they would have beaten Leeds and a few others from recent bbl history.Potentislly Durham in their first year. Suspect thd tigers budget that year was less than one player in any of the current teams.

Owners were complete cowboys. Rumours were rife that (and please forgive the clichéd way in which this will read) Gary Townsend bet the entire club on a poker game with the two clowns that ended up running it into the ground. As with most things in his life (and indeed his death), Gary lost.
As you may have guessed, I never had much time for anyone who owned that club.

I seem to remember there was one player who had a season with Birmingham Knights, lost every game then played for Tigers and also lost every game. He never once won a BBL game or am I making that up?

You made my job easy with some very long quotes. Though (I think) they cut me after your year in the limelight

Despite the team being just about short of a level befitting of a championship (ha), the BBL was as good as it was ever going to be for me, I fancied myself as an academic too much to bother with the states and probably didn't have the contacts or ability anyway, so to play in the league was great for me despite how bad we were. Unfortunately the money simply wasnt and still isn't there for a guy with my skillset to take up the offers I had the season after to play full time.
