Could possibly last chance saloon for either team, Nix in particular after recent results from other teams, managed to get from 7th to 10th in a week.

So, I may well turn up for this. Likely to be tickets on the door? There will definitely be tickets on the door - can't see it being a big crowd at all despite the importance. 2pm tip off, Good Friday, lots of people away for Easter, no school kids there..............and a weather forecast of glorious sunshine. Should be a cracking game though, and Phoenix know they have to win both remaining home games now (Giants and Wolves) - plus maybe get something next week on their 2 trips to London. Looking forward to it! Certainly a good one to make it over for Chris! Just give yourself an extra 15 mins to get past Cheshire Oaks on a Bank Holiday afternoon!!! |

We really can’t afford to lose today. Didn’t expect some of the recent results fir Raiders, Giants and Flyers or indeed the runaround d at Rocks. If we can’t turn up for this game we don’t deserve to make the play offs. Fingers crossed!

So....
I didn't try to get in, but waited until the last 5 minutes and popped on to the balcony to take some photos of my son and wave to him etc.
That's when I was confronted by a Nix guy who told me that I can't be there, and said he would get someone from the centre to tell that.
I said fine, when they come and confirm it I will move.
At that point he started getting very agressive, telling me what an idiot I am...how I shouldn't challenge him etc. He called his mate up who was even more agressive and was telling me I shouldn't try him because of the things he would do to me.
At that point the first guy grabbed my son's tablet that I had been watching the game on, so I got it back, which is why there was a skuffle.
Lucky some Giants fans then came up for support and I agreed to leave as to not cause too much a scene.
Funny really.

What a truly awful club they seem to be.
My visit was (previously) was marred by a group of foul mouthed middle aged women in blue hoodies which put me off the area for life.like rejects from Jeremy Kyle

Great all Acton game from Nix, played real team basketball making room for the shooters who took advantage of the space. Couldn't. Understand why Giants gave so much time to Norl even after his fourth and fifth three pointer. Kept Clayton quiet ( as much as you could keep keep him quiet) perhaps Giants do only have one play revolving around him. McCall hit a few but nothing anywhere near enough to keep the game alive. Nice too the Venerable Yorrick again, however the bench proved far too comfortable for him to set foot on the court.
We live to fight another day!!! Next stop London X 2.
