Interesting, considering hes already back in the states judging but his Instagram I wonder if Cheshire never planned to keep him in May, his contract ended and he didn't want to play without a wage ? He played 32 mins the previous night so I can't see any "not wanting to play" situation arising. From what I saw of him yesterday and the highlights of the game there didn't seem to be an obvious injury. He seemed to be moving about on the bench easily enough. When the game ended, Andy Thompson said something to him and Gettys threw his arms up and shrugged. Perhaps Thompson said to him "Why the reduced minutes?" Who knows eh? Just thought it strange that they sat him down for so long....... Didn't gettys coming back on court in the first leg co-incide with us finishing the game 18-0? |

So Cheshire fans - better season than last? So,everyone seems to be avoiding this. Hmmmm, no cups or any final trips to make VERSUS finishing 7 th reaching the playoffs then going out in the 1/4 stage. Really enjoyed the silverware last year but the team struggled a bit in winning league games so a disappointing end to that season. This year we had very few easy games either wins or losses so on reflection a more exciting season this year than last. Results in the last few games stick in the mind either for good/ bad reasons so to win the race to the play offs in those last few games must be a bonus. A visit to the funfair in October as a reward for being 7th as well. Disappointing end against Riders we didn't reach the standards we set in April ( Obviosly Ben Thomas fault for getting COTM ruining it as all COTM curses strike!!). Encouraging to have a squad starting to come together for next year.....Louis Sayers/ Dizzy 👍 so my vote is this season was better and next season's even better. |

Still unsure but I do believe the play offs were there to be won. Nativity in the first leg and CJism in the second. I’m not sure whether I’m more angry or disappointed.

Think they were naive in both games - do you thinking CJ was injured. I’m not convinced, he seemed to sarcastically applaud when he came off ? Maybe I’m wrong but don’t think we will be seeing him again at EPSV. First visit to Morningside - just makes me think on revenue Phoenix are missing out on every game given all the add ons available to buy etc. I believe Phoenix don’t get any of the sales of food etc at EPSV |

In many ways it is even more annoying that the catering revenue isn't seen by the club when the company that does see it is run by many of the same directors. |
