âI can also see it being more as in a bigger signing. A premium British forward that can be a starter and complement Mitchell and Hussein is the surprise I'm hoping forâ. Am hoping for the same I just hope it happens. Surely with the new arena and hopefully us having more money coming in off the back of that and still being the most successful team in BBL league history we should be able to pull off a big name signing. I think some of the players like Morsell, Mitchell and Aded Hussein look like really good signings and I think they are going to be big players for. Also add in Rahmon Fletcher who is a premier player in this league and we know what he can do so he is a big signing anytime. But I would like to see us make a statement signing if you like. Just thinking of players that havenât signed anywhere yet like MBA say or a GB player. Sign someone like that and we are in business. Banter aside Eagles should make a statement signing IMO Statement signing.....I think we just made it...... I saw this guy in Slovakia a couple of years ago. He is a different level player who can play both guard roles. And is as fast as Fletch. They will be a match up nightmare. And if teams try to swarm over Rahmon they will find it doesnât work any more. Game changer. British passport too. Comes highly recommended by both Fletch and Andre Jones. Nothing will shake INFâs confidence, but this should at least help us qualify for the play offs.....just.

Looks like your backcourt is very well sorted. Being British is a massive plus for Eagles.

Absolutely delighted with this. We've recognised an issue and dealt with it. That hasn't been the case in recent seasons. Fantastic news!

Someone kindly pm'd me this guy yesterday so I knew it was coming And I've seen his highlights already - he does remind me of Fletch a bit how he plays I think what happened is - after I questioned Laskers quality as a back up point guard to Fletch and pointed out that Eagles have no plan other than everything relies on Fletch - Fab saw the light and went and signed this guy overnight That's my story and I'm sticking to it Takes some pressure off Fletch Im still very confident we will finish above you guys in the league But at least you might be more competitive than recent seasons

And will be quiet for a bit !!!

I don't want to start getting greedy but I'd still love it if we brought back Kyle Williams! Albeit our backcourt is pretty well serviced now.

Just back in UK meeting up with his brother (the only K Williams playing for Eagles this season) You've eluded to the return of Kai a couple of times now. As I've said previously I'm not against Kai returning at all to be fair so long as it's a slightly less key role within the team as the one he has had the past two seasons. More interesting is your suggestion that we wont be seeing Kyle return - Is that just a hunch or are you in the know? Never reveal your sources

I'm expecting one big new name Too many rumours and Jeff's last comment on here suggests he's got a good one up his sleeve Fab surely doesn't get an announcement ? Just take it for granted he will play again at some stage I think if he plays this year he breaks a record or two? Aye, there are multiple ways to read Jeff's last comment. Mine initially was that more continiuity is to come i.e. DKF but I can also see it being more as in a bigger signing. A premium British forward that can be a starter and complement Mitchell and Hussein is the surprise I'm hoping for. Will a 5ft11 PG do instead?

Well with the names we have so far which is all we can go off at this point, Fletcher and Morsell. But I would expect another guard to possibly slot inbetween them in the rotation. I don't class Lasker as one of the best back up guards in BBL. My reason is that when Fletcher is off the court Eagles are so noticeably weaker ive spent a few years watching Riders now and no matter who is playing point guard and who is sitting down nothing seems to change in how we play. when fletch sits down its all about how quickly he can get his breath back to get back out there. And meanwhile its damage limitation for Eagles lasker IMO isn't trusted to cover for fletch properly. doesnt mean he's not a decent player. But hes a stop gap for Eagles IMO rather than a goto guy. No doubt that will upset some on here. But that's just how I see it So anyone happy to admit I was right? Eagles needed a better backup PG? I said all that when we all thought Eagles unknown signing would be a forward For the first time in a while eagles will have another go-to PG rather than just relying on Fletch to do it all?

Iâd frankly rather have this guy than MBA. And,nun like most on here, Iâve seen him play. And he can.
And he isnât a backup PG.

Very happy with how the squad is shaping up now. Someone who can play PG when Fletch is sitting and play SG if we go for a small backcourt.

Welcome to the Eagles Rodney, looks like a good signing and the type of player we needed to give us extra strength in the PG position.
So if we are to count Fab in the player rotation then that takes our recruitment now to 10 players with Dafoe and Kai as we are expecting to come in as the final two taking our roster to 12 and then done.
So no more room for another new face, no room for a possible move for MBA and that statement signing. Although I think Glasgow is a statement in its own right.
Unless Fab is not going to be playing this season if he is but only if needed. So then our recruitment would be 9 so far with 3 more to come in. Meaning if we were signing Dafoe and Kai then we would have one more spot available and be able to bring in that other new player. Thatâs unless we are just going for an 11 man roster.
My choice would be that Fab doesnât play unless really needed, but shouldnât be with the players we have recruited and just concentrates on coaching. We sign another new player, a forward and then fill the final spots with the two other above mentioned names.
Not sure which way itâs going to go but hope we find out soon.

These are the highlights I watched that reminded me of Fletch a bit. He looks like a really good acquisition. Fletcher & Glasgow on court together will be a handful for defences.

I absolutely agree with the above. Unfortunately, he will have to warm the bench for the first three months of the season until his British passport comes through ... long delays caused by Brexit.

I'd put us 2nd favourites alongside Riders. Lions concern me as it seems they have signed Soko. Almost certainly wont have the budget for MBA.

Defoe wont be cheap
If MBA is coming in maybe it's instead of Defoe and some of Defoe's wages are going towards paying for MBA
