Anyone think the bbl social media has been poor this year? BBL accounts graphic for signing Tadas didn’t have a pic - despite him playing last year IN A ROCKS KIT! And then rocks themselves content has been poor, Instagram lacking and the new employee using their personal accounts for credit?

Its all rather weird this off season. Content seems largely to have gone backwards from all team and looks dated.

I liked the instagram stuff yesterday from the club but will be interesting to see how it goes now that its someone else doing it. Largely think content and media since its gone out of house as such is drab, lazy and a little old fashioned.

The Rocks social media is a total disaster at best. How can they be in a tournament and no results of at least the games they played in., never mind the games.

Not excusing Rocks lack of SM, but I couldn't find a mention of the tournament on the Phoenix website. Maybe I'm dim and I've missed something. but it's as if it never happened. I doubt I'm unique in that I don't use Twitter or FB .

Thanks guys! I've usually found that whenever a blog is released you'll get one or two folk who take issue with publicly criticising the club. Although I should point out, Duncan responded to the blog saying he agreed with much of what I said. So maybe I was a little presumptious in thinking folk would get annoyed.
Time to see if the club take action. There's been no advertisement of this weekend's game which is pretty appalling.

Surprisingly I have just seen a FB message about buying tickets for the game in 6 days time.. Presumably its the first home game... That's the first I've seen for a while.

There are also people who think that "the club" is above any kind of criticism. I have one particular person staling my blog. I had someone else PM me this week to say he won't be reading my blog any more as he didn't like a post on here. While I'll admit that I expected more from Rocks when Smilee took over, he does seem willing to listen to constructive criticism. Whether you should have to poke people to do their (presumably) paid job is another matter. |

Then maybe that's the problem. If they haven't got a volunteer to do decent media, they need to pay someone to do it.
There's 4 news stories on their website since the start of August.
