I’d go for Brandon Peel, for singlehandedly stopping Lions from being the absolute worst team in the league right now (I accept I might be doing Justin Robinson a bit of a disservice there).

I’d go for Brandon Peel, for singlehandedly stopping Lions from being the absolute worst team in the league right now (I accept I might be doing Justin Robinson a bit of a disservice there). I can't help thinking, if your team is THAT bad, you've lost so many games then your play has ultimately contributed to nothing. |

But if your best play hasn't ultimately made your team win games and put them in a winning position, does your play matter? Are you the player of the month if your play hasn't helped your team in what is a team sport?
I'd much rather give an award to someone with slightly lower numbers who is getting wins than someone who only had the individual numbers and isn't winning games.

I can see your argument, but as it’s PLAYER of the month I somewhat disagree. An extreme example to try and make my point, if a player had scored 40 points in every game over the past month, but they played for last placed Manchester Giants (I know, that would mean the rest of the team are absolutely dismal, but I said it was an extreme example!), shouldn’t that player be BBL Player of the Month? |

Definitely deluded!! Shhhhhhhh, we all must stop saying how good he is, But I suspect you're right, injury concerns must have kept the big clubs and big money away at the moment. Not had the chance to chat to him yet but looks like he is enjoying himself with us. MEMO TO BOARD.....get him on a 5 year deal quick🙏🙏
