It is a real shame that you wouldn't really know this game is happening tonight as there is very little mention of it on any rocks social media.
Tough 2 games. I would really be happy with atleast 1 win, anything more and it really sets us uo for the new year and if we don't win then we are probably where we deserve to be.

Be good to see the Rocks win and take away from the omnishamble that DS has made the Rocks franchise since he put his money stained hands on the franchise.

Out of curiosity why would you say it’s an omnishambles?

We haven't played for a while so rustiness may play a part. Rocks look as if they've recruited well. Won't be easy for Riders.

Good win from the Rocks. It was hard to watch at times and not just because of the ****ty camera work that the BBL sees fit to impose on us. On a side note. I have now black listed all forms of official Rocks social media seeing as DS obviously has a young high school kid running it.

Rocks scored 17 points from our turnovers. Don't get me wrong - they played well and deserved their win. Cartwright was responsible for the loss. Charging foul called which put him on 3 in Q3 then he picked up a technical immediately by objecting/swearing/whatever. Benched and when he came back he turned over the ball twice in the final few minutes. Ward-Hibbert played a blinder.

Riders were poor tonight, apart from JW-H who was magnificent. Why he doesn't start ahead of Anderson, I guess I'll never know.
Anderson was exceedingly poor tonight despite playing virtually the whole 40 minutes. His renown as a first class defender is a joke, when he chooses not to defend closely enough to prevent his opponent shooting over him. As a close defender, one would expect to pick up a couple or more personal fouls, but he picked up none because he didn't defend aggressively enough.
Both Darien N-H and Namon Wright played well enough, but Jesse Chuku and Ky Cartwright both were below par tonight.
Joe Scott was also poor tonight, but being asked to fulfill a role that he's not comfortable with
And last of all, Andy Thomson was definitely off his game tonight, and IMO bringing him on in the fourth quarter and subbing out Nelson-Henry with a one point lead and 2.30 left on the clock, was the mistake that ultimately lost us the game.
D N-H had shown all night that he was playing better than Andy Thomson, what on earth was Rob trying to achieve?
Rant over !!!

Another sloppy game for Riders. Real missed opportunities. Should be 3-0 but look like they may well end the weekend 1-3. Developing a few worrying habits - we've thrown away comfortable leads in our last three games. Double figure lead in the second half against Cheshire, 16/17 point lead cut down to 3 in Worcester and had multiple opportunities to put Glasgow away today and never did. Seem to lack that killer instinct. Glasgow stuck around and made their shots down the stretch and we couldn't answer.
As has been said before, we look lost whenever Ky sits and really struggle when he's not the best player on the floor. Thankfully he's been really good so far but when he's off his game like tonight the offence goes to pot.
Turnovers are killing us. On both ends. When we force them and get out and run we look great. Didn't do that much today. And we've been coughing the ball up a lot the last few games. A lot of careless turnovers costing us. More noticeable in OT of the Cheshire game but if we look after the ball we win the game tonight too.
Also a shame that Jesse Chuku isn't fit enough to play a full game. Not the greatest stat in the game but he was +16 for the 20 odd mins he played. Yet barely saw the floor in the 4th. We look so much better when he's on the floor. A fully fit Chuku and Walker would've been a proper front line. Ah well!

Can Barry Lamble not solve some of these problems? Where’s INF?

Rocks are fortunate to have Pryor. He made the offence tick. Good 3 point shooting by them. We couldn't match that but also didn't move the ball well enough at times to get an open shot. Too often we reverted to one on one drives that failed to get the ball in the hoop. Great crowd but fear the defeat won't help us win over more fans. Sunday needs a different result BUT Sharks' confidence must be sky high after tonight's crushing victory away to Eagles.
Hope they are thoroughly knackered!

A fully fit Chuku and Walker would've been a proper front line. Ah well! Whys Chuku not fit? Injury recovery or Christmas recovery? I have been told but can't remember. Not sure if it's a prior or recurring injury or something he's picked up since he joined but remember being told pretty early in the season that he wasn't 100% fit and we would likely have to manage his minutes throughout the season. This is not the first close game where he's been sat for long periods in the second half where he was really needed on the floor. Also, whilst I agree with a lot of what was said above I have to disagree with regards to Jamell. Not his best game tonight but I think his defensive reputation is well deserved and he's been excellent so far this season. Rob is a very good defensive coach and often talks about how good he is on that end of the floor. He regularly matches up against the opposition's best players even when they don't play his position. Played excellent D on Robinson in our recent win over Lions and on Edwards against Worcester. He's also been much improved offensively as well. Can't be arsed to look up stats but bet he is one of our best shooters so far this year. Feel like he's one of the players to have benefited from Ky the most. But he's filling his role. None of this is to say that JWH isn't a really good player or deserving of starters minutes (again without checking would guess he's probably getting close to 30 a night anyway). Or even a better player than Jamell. But I think both have been impressive this year.

2 league games in a row we could have won but failed
Not good. We will improve though
Tough game against sharks away next. But the kind of tough game we usually can find a way to win and need to win
Let's see what this team has in their locker

Grest start to the weekend sneaking an away win. Absolutely amazing. Except lions trouncing us opening weekend we havr looked really wolid. The way we play slloes pryor to facilitate but also if he needs to make shots. We need this greg Pryor all season not just the odd game oor two

Ive just rewatched the 4th. The way we played in the final minutes were awesome. The inclusion of having tadas and gsreth on thr floor paid off! Nice to see rinkounas hitting some 3s. We have really missed that threat nd Gareth on both ends coming up with steals and hitting the tough winner at the basket. We go top of the league however having played royals technically we drop from 4-1 to 3-1. Big push onto eagles game. Can they play that bad again!
Reminder the later tip time on sunday and the rangers vs celtic game is on.

Thought Rocks played a really solid, straightforward game that deserved the win. Fraser and Pryor both excellent.
I'm losing patience with Riders' turnovers, have to say.

Personally I don’t think either of them are doing a very good job right now.
