I remember you playing us at Sport Central as just "Cheshire" when the BBL were occupying the franchise and you played in blank vests etc. Possibly only had 6/7 players that night. During that short period the players were living with some of the supporters as they were homeless, we had Matthew Lloyd ( now a BBL ref) coaching as well being on the bench. I seem to remember one game he was unable to get to the game and passed on instructions via text messages. No doubt others on the board will expand on those times!! Such dra and disappointment. The Edinburgh bound owner tries to sell to lady Cisse. That fails then winding them up. Rumour there was some paper shredding in that period. Local businessman buys appoints Ham as coach then suspends him before he quits. Realised its an open drain. Shreds the imports. Then some mystery as the franchise is taken off him and run by the bbl. Burt gets involved and with Donaldson finds the cash to re-emerge as Phoenix. Felt a little sorry for the businessman who must have lost a packet through naive well intentions Makes Royals look like amateurs. Despite all - happy days |

I’m guessing he’s given you a few T’s in your playing days. His reffing Cheshire does seem odd but I’ve never thought him biased as a ref Name me a referee who hasnt. I dont hold anything against them for that, in fact I have a joke with a lot of them about it, but out of everyone (Unsworth’s included in this and I don’t hold them in high regard) he was the biggest ar5ehole I ever came across by a distance. One I’d love to meet down a back alley. |

I hope his mum isn't logged onto the board after that, there were rumours that she was posting as Nixette but I think that was sorted out. |

Will we ever know what’s happened to Will Saunders?? Did Lawrence leave too? Lawrence injured. Not sure how bad. Saunders signed injured but has been on the bench for all home and some away games. Not sure when both are likely to be fit |
