I bet on Riders to turn some players over and win the league. Sharks, Lions, wolves, eagles even Nix and Rocks battling to be up there but all losing plenty of games amongst each other Every team can beat each other. The teams other than Riders won't improve like we will. IMO Ps that's not rose tinted glasses. It's my honest opinion. We will come good and the rest of the league are going to lose lots of matches to each other. Sharks will get injuries to key players and the squad won't cope. If there was a strong squad out there to fear I might feel different. There isn't one this season. It is rose tinted glasses like 😎

Sharks doing ok but shallow squad. So I'm basing my prediction on which team will add players and improve. And from recent years that will be Riders

That explains the current situation then as "any team seriously challenging for the league should use all their import options.". Perhaps Leicester aren't taking winning the league seriously (yet) !

Jonas Dietrich not playing for Riders anymore? Jonas Dietrich is British. Apologies for my ignorance, I always believed him to qualify as an EU player (German) . For want of a (much) better phrase, do you know "how" he is British ie if he was born in UK, is a dual passport or if he qualifies on some other grounds (time spent in education / university in UK) Sorry that sounds very Brexity, I really don't care either way it was purely out of curiosity.

Although it seems to be a common belief that Jonas is playing on a British passport amongst Riders as far as I know (and have been told by people who should be in a position to know) he is playing on a German passport.

Very few minutes though. So would no doubt miss out if another European was needed/wanted We've still got wages of Mo Walker to pay which will restrict our budgets He's top import quality on top import wages yet he's a Brit It's still so early in the season in terms of the league that we will add if needed And it appears Jordan Spencer may be the first addition if the rumours on here are correct?

According to Facebook, Jonas went to school in Staffordshire and to university in Loughborough, surely that qualifies him for a British passport?

Well colour me surprised! Mark my words!! It's happening already! Don't worry, I've already made a mental note of your prediction that Riders will win at least 2 of the Championship, Play-Offs and Trophy this season.
