By the way, Raiders are absolutely lost without Hassan and Wilcher. Not one of them I think is much cop. And they stormed off at the end & allowed an uncontested layup with seconds left?? Bizarre Think they were a bit upset that they were 30+ points down with 4.5 seconds left and Ben Thomas called a timeout. Nix went into the huddle to plan a move, Raiders couldn't believe it and just stood on the court watching, don't think PJ. Could believe it either. End of timeout, Nix went into position for the inbound and Raiders just stood and watched them!!!!. Ball inbound 2 more points!!! Raiders took the remaining time off the clock....end of game. Teams shook hands at the end ,no storming off don't really think raiders were angry or annoyed just watched in disbelief and bewilderment. Think this 2 game head to head lark is causing a few issues, just in case Nix and Raiders are equal in the final table, Raiders need to win by two more points than before.

At least 2 Raiders stormed off resulting in one of the coaches running after them - a difference of opinion between BT and some of the Raiders players when going back into changing rooms.

I don't think money's an issue with raiders just flat out poor recruiting!! You have two top 10 bbl players play to there strengths
Hassan is a power forward not a centre therefore just get a defensive big in the middle who can make up for his errors on defence
Both Josh and Hassan are great at the Rim so clear the space for them just sign two American 3 and d guys just to clear out lane Josh and rashad will get you 40 a game they only need to be average shooters then just fill the bench with shooting and some academy players

How many points were you up st that point? 31. But its irrelevant. I actually really hope they're tied for last playoff place and Plymouth beat Cheshire by 32 and miss out on the playoffs by a point purely down to that play. Unlikely because Cheshire look good for a comfortable playoff spot whilst Raiders don't seem to have a prayer but stranger things have happened.
I've seen the "Its seen as disrespectful in the NBA" argument thrown around a lot on social media, and quite frankly its a load of pish.
We're not in the NBA. Points difference matters this season owing to the league format. Play basketball for the amount of time the clocks running for or suffer the consequence.
Don't blame Thomas one bit.

It’s like when a player gets injured and is on the ground, anyone with any kind of sportsmanship would throw the ball out of play, or kick the ball out of play in a football match.... it’s kind of a unwritten rule right. I’ve seen punch ups on the court cus of this exact thing in the bbl... just saying. 🍆💦

In the BBL in the past it hasn't. This year it does. So its nothing like someone being injured at all.

I get your point, maybe you don’t get mine. I know exactly what you're saying, and in years gone by yeah I'd have agreed with you.
Not the case this year. And its twice now you've fallen foul of it.

I would agree with you also if them game was within reach in the head to head. If Cheshire was to let slip a 30 point lead then they don’t deserve it. 32 pts might seal it tho right 💪 good job x

If they let a 30 point lead slip then yes they do, as they're ahead by 32. If they let a 32 point lead slip, then no they don't. That's kind of how it works....

As I said, read up, the 30pts was ref to the lead they would of had.

Anyway, good thinking Ben. The players still don't seem to grasp the importance of the changes this year. Last night 5 seconds left and PJC happy to play the game out but was loudly shouted at by Ben Thomas to go for more points. That led to an unsportsmanlike and 1 extra point, then that uncontested 2 points at the end. So in reality PJC doesn't appreciate the new situation and the whole Plymouth team certainly don't!!!

How does Mark Rangely look at BBL level? Always liked him at Spinners and Liverpool Didn’t seem to go so well at giants. Hope it proves a good move for him.

Phoenix were down 2 starters. I love him as a guy but I cant see him playing much. Did the same thing to Dupps years ago - deserved far more time than he got.

Just to clarify, you’re taking a load of old cobble. Arguing for the sake or arguing, I’m sure you would have to opposite opinion if the tables were turned. I’m going to guess that you’re going to say you think Plymouth would have had every right if they were but there we are. CPJ didn’t look to impressed either.

By the way Im far from a Phoenix fan. It seems like the teams that actually win stuff tend to agree with me though (see Riders and Lions doing the same thing)

In layman’s terms it’s bit of a ****s trick. In past seasons I agree with you completely but the whole idea has changed this season. It's all about having a thinking basketball brain and adapting. If you don't plan and think through strategies then, as Bigz says you're possibly losing places on points difference or.......you snooze you lose.

In layman’s terms it’s bit of a ****s trick. Any other time, yes. But the way the games have panned out it is actually more respectful to try and score as many as possible. If they don't it shows they obviously don't think you are going to be anywhere near them come the end of the season. They're probably giving Raiders more credit than they are due at the moment.

Lavandier at rocks was shouting at the guys against giants to score more points. Tadas shot a three from way out after malcolm didnt hear coach. Soko last night dunked it. Its going to happen and teams that get it will benefit.
I personally dont but i understand in this short race of a season the importance
