Personally got no problem with any team playing right until to the final buzzer and getting as many points as possible - in fact I prefer it to running the clock down. However, in this case, I think it was the time out being called with 4 seconds remaining that the Raiders weren't happy with. I know the two things kind of go hand in hand, but when the commentator has to explain to the crowd why it's been called (apparently to practice a play in case the points was tied at the same stage of another game) then you know the Phoenix were going against convention.
And the Raiders were a lot more upset by it than anybody saw on YouTube!

And the Raiders were a lot more upset by it than anybody saw on YouTube! Think it was a complete double bluff tbh. Thomas called the time out thinking Raiders wouldn't want to concede any more points and Raiders weren't expecting (for some unknown reason given the same thing happened in the Lions game) that the Phoenix were going to try and score.
That said, I don't think any of that situation happens if Ubiaro doesn't clothesline PJC, I think he genuinely was going to get it over half court and run the game out. I saw the practically useless Januska and one or two others walk off after the game and not shake anyone's hands and a lot of outrage on the Raiders bench as well as when they were headed over to the changing rooms. I mean, I don't care what happens anywhere else in the world or what's gone previously, they have to know the situation they're playing in - especially since the same outrage occurred on the Friday against Lions. Brought this entirely on themselves.

I have always hated the idea of not trying to score right up to the end of a game, even when we are being soundly beaten. All the rules of basketball are designed to encourage attacking play so please let's end this mad idea of 'disrespecting the opposition' by bouncing a ball with everyone else stood around in an embarrassed fashion till the clock winds down. Score as many as you can while you can AND allow bench warmers to have some time on court, which is important I think.
