Who have announced Theo Turners departure today. No great surprises there save for apparently he asked to be released rather than him being cut.
The bigger news is that Wilcher is out for around a month after emergency surgery for a non basketball related problem. Hope he gets well soon. |

What is the worst season the Raiders have had, since joining the BBL? If you're looking at wins its 9. Gavin Loves season when he returned. If you take into account the fewer games a 5 or less win season would be worse |

Raiders, like most bbl clubs have very few basketball fans and more club fans so winning or losing doesn't make a huge difference to many

It’s about time Raiders made another signing. How many 000s are they willing to pee away on whats increasingly looking like a dead season though?
Surely Paul James needs to be taken to task here? I mean he's recruited horribly and the team doesn't even look half organised. Looks like a scratch team that's come in and only met each other once before playing.

He’s obviously ****ed up this season with recruitment. I think now it’s try and find a couple of decent players and hopefully keep them for next season. Not sure who I’d carry over to next season from this squad. I don’t think even Wilcher or Hassan have been that great. |

Matt Scott would make a big difference to Raiders or to any club in the BBL.
Of course Lions still have a permit spot open!

Yeah I dont think a new coach is out of the question.
I mean, youre paying the guy handsomely. I know that for a fact. His recruitment has been poor for two seasons now (Im not counting Nicholas as he wasnt a PJ "find") and his teams dont look close to organised when Josh Wilcher (also not his find) doesnt play.
You can definitely do better.

Won’t be a new coach. PJ is on a 2 year contract and seeing that out for sure. A lot of the deadwood is going! 👀
