Riders have announced signing of Harvard graduate, British-Canadian guard Corey Johnson from Spanish side Zornotza Saskibaloi Taldea ahead of tonight's action against Flyers. A July 2019 press release said of him: Following a productive career at Lavietes Pavilion, Corey Johnson '19 has signed with Zornotza Saskibaloi Taldea in the LEB Plata in Spain.
One of the top shooters in program history, Johnson ranks third all-time at Harvard with 206 made 3-pointers. He joined Laurent Rivard '14 and Dan Clemente '01 as the only Harvard players to make at least 200, and broke the program's record for first-year players with 74.
Johnson posted averages of 7.2 points and 2.4 rebounds per game across 105 appearances for the Crimson. One of the team's captains for the 2018-19 season, Johnson was a two-time Ivy League champion, and helped Harvard advance to a pair of NITs. Blimey. He has a Wikipedia page at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corey_Johnson_(basketball)

Seems odd he left his team in Spain, was their 2nd highest contributor in minutes per game, can't imagine he'll be close to starting at Riders but could be an effective no.7-9 off the bench.
