Will be watching this one to see if Lions can be defeated by Sheffield. I'm hoping the answer is YES.

Start of a massive 3 game run for Lions. Sharks, Riders & Eagles. We'll have played 50% of our league games at the end of it, 3 wins & we take a slight advantage into the 2nd half of our season.
Today will be really tough given Sharks result on Friday. They'll be hurting lots and desperate to put that result right, I'm expecting them to come out with the most energy & commitment they've shown all season & given their starting 5, Lions are going to have to be ready for an onslaught in the 1st quarter.
It's the h2h as well so Sharks will be looking for a 9 point win to take the series.
Lions will need plenty of composure but with Justin, Ovie & Brandon we've got plenty of that if we use it!

Ovie is cutting the ribbon at the opening of a new tanning salon in Essex this afternoon sadly Being serious though I was surprised how many league games Lions had already played. And we've only got 22 league games per club this season (less if Royals drop out) We could do with Lions losing 2 or more of those next 3 games to even things out a bit. I doubt they will lose two or more tbh. Would have preferred them to be playing sharks away when sharks were in good form |

Lions ought to take this with their new signing added into the mix. Quite a formidable outfit. I'd like Riders to have some competitive games between us and the game in two weeks against Lions. Rust has a habit of forming if there's no momentum.

Never stood a chance, Robinson was just too good in the third, but in our defence we never gave up even when we went 18 down and made it close in the end, although the result was never seriously in question. Not sure yet if we can call the Lions nailed on certs for the championship, but it will take a decent side to pip them to it now.
