Think Rocks ought to have enough firepower to win this one, especially as it is on their home court.

Another decent win for Rocks, takes us to 6-2 again (after "losing" a Win against LC Royals). Only Raiders and Flyers to play to complete first half of championship season (at home to both on next two Fridays).
Excellent 1st Quarter, outscored Scorchers 35-13, which was the platform for the win. Rocks lost their way in the third and Scorchers got as close as 10 early in the 4th, but Rocks got their act together again and closed the game out.
Predictably, Payne had a good game against the team he almost joined. And Tayo also scored well against Rocks, he often does.

1st quarter really set us up. Great to see.
Payne would have been playing with a chip on his shoulder. Suppose we wont know why the visa was delayed. Always nice to see tayo and G match up. I really believe Tayos game benefited massively from his year in glasgow working with sterl and achara.
Quietest game by white. Thorpe (probably our best defender) just closed him out the game.

Getting a bit fed up with watching the Scorchers get out-rebounded. The Rocks must have had 7 or 8 offensive boards in Q1 which, along with their excellent defense, set up the comfortable win.
Scorchers are a little under-sized but with White and Hawthorne on-court is isn't a terrible mismatch. Must work harder.

Rocks were the worse rebounding team in the league...

Rocks were the worse rebounding team in the league... About time that changed - looks like it has.
