First job of the "new era" is to find a better place to play in. They really deserve a proper venue which will encourage more than just the die hard fans to attend.

I've done some sleuthing and he proudly displays his 1991 Commonwealth Basketball Games gold medal on Twitter. Didn't even know that was a thing. Is it? Im not sure its a thing either! In 2006 in Melbourne, Australia won the first ever Commonwealth Games Gold Medals in both the men's and women's competitions. New Zealand's teams and England's teams won the Silver and Bronze Medals respectively. So unless there was a Commonwealth Basketball championship in a non games year that is a secret , it's a nonsense. |

And I'm clinging to that, because all I'm seeing now is fluff and rhetoric. Anyone else not sold on motivational speakers? I mean I'm not being a d*ck here but I just tend to find there's a lot of empty words there. Maybe I've never found the right one (can't say I've ever looked either tbh!).

That's the image of the medal. It's not the Commonwealth Games as they didn't take place in Edinburgh in 1991.
It's something called the Commonwealth Basketball Championships
I've googled those and the only thing I can find on the internet is a business that looks like it set up just for that tournament and then dissolved without filing any accounts
TBF on Twitter he doesn't say it's a Commonwealth Games Gold Medal. He just says he's found his Gold Medal for basketball in his mum's stuff
I'm assuming he played for some kind of national representative team in that tournament.
But nothing official or recognised by anyone else (unless anyone knows different and remembers this tournament?)
He's wrote at least one book and apparently he never talks about what he actually achieved in terms of basketball success in that book
I guess it helps him for people to think he's achieved more than he has

I can recommend one guy called Robin Sharma And the 5am club I've never met him - just found him on youtube Really helped me - you get up at 5am every morning and improve all aspects of your life. I've been doing it for 6 months now. Take a look Bigz Loads more stuff from him all FOC on youtube |
