It's a shame as game sold out earlier this week, which is great for Eagles but I can see a big loss here. We aren't going to be taking any risks with injured players and surely Fletch isn't going to play 40 minutes with a more important game coming on Sunday even though he's the only fit senior guard.

Why would Eagles choose to prioritise a less important competition when they're essentially one loss off top spot in the league? They should be doing everything in their power to try and win tonight. In no way, shape or form should anyone be 'rested'. If anything, this is the kind of fixture where you take a chance on guys who are 50/50 fitness-wise. Incredible how quickly some of their fans throw in the towel these days.

I dont know whether its because hes been injured or what, but Mike Morsell is one of if not the most underrated player in the league.
Hands all over the place defensively.

Apart from first couple of minutes I thought Lions were very poor. Eagles played decent. Gettys looks in good shape. But Lions didn't put Eagles under any pressure at all IMO |
