Its a streetball game with little or no structure to it at all. Scorchers all one v one offence, no set plays no nothing. Im waiting for you to tell me this is a better game than last night now. It isnt. Littered with mistakes. |

We showed some bottle tonight
And surrey will cause plenty of teams plenty of problems between now and the end of the season

WTF! Johnson scored 10 from 14 three point attempts at one stage. He was phenomenal and we did this pretty much without Cartwright who could only manage limited minutes. Great team performance - MBA was very effective, I have to admit.
That was a great victory. Hell of a game.

The standard of the game was far higher. That doesn't make for a great game though if one team wins comfortably Depends what you consider great of course. We showed far more ball movement in one quarter tonight than Lions did in the whole game. And that's without our starting point guard. Anyway - thats one of the most enjoyable games I've watched for a while tonight and had we lost I would have had to hand it to Scorchers We got the job done and you could tell by the reaction of Rob at the end how important that was to win Must win game and we got the job done. And deserved to win in the end. We will need to improve for the Eagles game. And could do with Cartwright fully fit for that. But I'm sure we will have a go at them. It's great to be underdogs again! |

Got to hand it to Leicester - they still grind out the wins.
A better team than Surrey might have put them away but that should take nothing away from the Riders, especially without Cartwright.

Hard for me to tell from my seat but Creon was seriously unhappy even continuing his complaints after the final Thoroughly enjoyable game. Sorry if it didn’t match up to how some people on here think the game should be played !! |
