Massive game for Lions tonight. Need to get back to winning ways after the two away losses, lose this and I think we're struggling to defend our title.
With any luck Phoenix won't have their best game of the season against us, unlike Riders & Eagles!

Missed the first minute or two, no PJC? No, doesn't look like he's on the bench either. With Dizzy on 3 fouls in the 2nd quarter, Mockford/Gordon/Sayers are sharing the point and we look headless :-( |

Bit difficult running an 8 man squad when PJC doesn't play. Do you have another 'quality' backup PG, then who do you do without? Then you have to lose Dizzy. But I agree he does struggle in that position, interesting that Sayers was used tonight, he has only recently developed as a ball handler.

Agree - reality is we haven’t got sufficient alternatives but I think Louis looks a better option. |

Lions made hard work of that, went 25 up then lost nearly all intensity & desire, Joe the only player who looked like he was putting in the effort required but it was a win & we needed that!
Huge crowd for a Wednesday night, I'd guess twice anything we've ever had for a weeknight game before. The OVIE effect in full force!! With that sort of crowd for a Wednesday, I'd hope we'd be close to the bottom tier being completely full on the 1st for the Riders game.

So. Just to confirm. You're top of the league, crowds are up and IRF hasn't said a word about his prediction it would all go to sh.it due to the Ovie factor.

Only top of the league because theyve played more games than us I'm more than happy with the way the league's shaping up The more lions rely on soko and robinson to win games the better for us They've got no plan B Ask Saint Pat to be honest and tell us whether he prefers last years squad to this year's squad |
