So where's the money coming from? These are not cheap acquisitions. Somebody sounds scared Not at all. Just scared of another club spending beyond its means and going bust. This league has form for that, as I am sure you are aware. I doubt very much Raiders are that silly, but who knows? What if another BBL club disappeared? Where does that put the future of the whole thing? |

Ron is gone but will Plymouth replace him? Seems unlikely. This season almost certainly a write off. I believe the Matt Scott and Richards signings were more about the club showing what kind of calibre of players the club could sign now |

Suppose its alot of striking a balance. Wolves raiders scorchers yet to announce but for all we know they all have 8-10 guys confirmed just not announced. Eagles have just started announcing returning guys and lions apparently hsve their guys in training camp with Surrey got their summer scrimmages going.

Raiders have wrapped some players up. They’ve just not announced anything yet.
Why would they? They’ve got to compete with Giants and Lions announcements at the moment. Hard to drum up excitement in comparison to those two!

Plymouth have obviously signed players so why have they not announced any yet? Will they just wait and announce the full team at once? I know there isn’t any rush but they should at least give their fans something to get excited about. And then what? What do you expect the rest of the clubs in the league to fill their social media with once they finish their announcements and have no more news? A lot of them will go into a huge lull or post pointlessly just to keep something going! There’s no start date so surely Raiders are one of the only clubs getting this right.....a progression of news towards a new season and building the interaction towards an actual event?! Think back to all those players announced back in July or even at the start of the month.....without the thread on here, how many of those do you genuinely remember? |

"There's a big difference between signing players and announcing them."
