For what it's worth with the changes Leicester have made I think they'll win the league fairly comfortably from here on out.

Eagles grounded. Tethered to the ground. What a win by us. JWH was the star turn for Riders but it was an excellent team performance tonight.

That was on the cards all night long, things go wrong in the first quarter, heads drop and we get absolutely taken apart. Fair enough we have injuries but good teams deal with injuries, show some grit and determination and battle for at least some pride. Eagles are not a good team unless things are going well, even then we rely on a core of players to score for us. Once again, I don't know how many times I've said it this season but we have players who just coast through a game and look way too comfortable to just lose badly. Hi Nick and Kai! I would rather they were just cut now, and we roll with academy players for the rest of the season because they offer absolutely NOTHING.
Riders didn't even need to be anywhere near their best today to beat us, but looks like they have way more depth than Eagles do. A big rethink is needed in the summer, we just can't afford to bring back many of these players who've been here for years. It isn't working and is so frustrating to watch.
Well done Leicester.

Bearing in mind several posters on here were saying that this Riders team was the worst in years only last week thats one hell of a turnaround we've made in a week!! I was going to post that if this is the worst Riders team in years what on earth does that make eagles? I was embarrassed for Eagles tonight. Totally outworked and given a lesson in how to play team basketball We totally outclassed eagles and the 38 point victory was justified This is one of the most exciting Riders teams I've ever watched. Pace and energy and threat all over the court and they seem like they are loving playing together We will have some ups and downs yet but I'm very happy with this squad And all this WITHOUT Mo Walker |

That offer is only valid for the next 90 minutes so let me know asap and I can get it signed off by both clubs and the BBL Will save Eagles travelling expenses and the embarrassment of a heavy defeat etc So you chose to lose by 38 points instead of 2? I think that might just give us the H2H in the unlikely event we need it against you I didn't actually expect the big victory. I gave your team credit for being much better than they really are. Eagles showed tonight they are just flat track bullies and when the chips are down there's nothing there. |

There are no threats coming from anywhere? |

Nailed it 👏 Just copy our model. Young and energetic British players - JWH, Spencer, Anderson, Johnson, Chuku. You need 3 or 4 like them. And then fit your imports around them. You can't fit second rate and old Brits around imports any more. You need a strong core of Brita to fit imports around. It's not rocket science and I said this for last couple of seasons about eagles. It's not hindsight. |

He's way too small and frail for BBL. |

Just to emphasise the amount of scoring threats we have. Corey Johnson who scored 30 plus last week only scored 7 points this week and was 6th highest scorer.
And we scored 100 plus without his 30 plus points from 3 point shots.

He just doesn't have the energy to back it up. Small glimpses of quality still but so few and far between as most of the game he is gasping for air. He was genuinely gasping for air after less than a minute. Down on his knees with his hands right in front of me. I looked at the clock and thought this is going to be a very long night for him. And he's got young guys against him running him all over the place It's not possible for him to compete with the young guys no matter what talent and nous he has. He looks heavy as well now. |
