As they walked past to the locker rooms there wasn't a word being said between them. Which actually surprised me. I thought they would have been either moaning at each other or trying to get each other up. But they were just all walking silently together. Maybe it kicked off behind closed doors? Who knows?? 🤔 Somebody said it was because they were promised free hotdogs by IRF  |

Heard a kind of funny rumour last night (if it's true!)
At the Lions game Oz came out of retirement to do the 50/50 raffle ticket selling. As usual he stormed it and it was just under £500 to the winner and £500 to the club. By far the biggest of the season and not far off the biggest payout ever.
There were some others selling the 50/50 with him. Anyway I heard that somehow they ended up selling two of the same raffle books with same colour tickets
And that when they drew the winner it was one of the matching colour raffle tickets
So last week we had 2 x 50/50 winners with the same winning tickets and they both were given the full payout and the biggest 50/50 of the season ended up making zero for the club
Fair play to the club for paying the full amount twice though
(Assuming I've heard the story correctly?)

They sold two books of the same colour and number tickets Each book has a duplicate ticket you put into the pot to draw out Once it's drawn out you have two winning tickets it matches up to I think there's a code on each ticket but by then two people are excited because they think they won etc Maybe one already had the money before the second one arrived It all makes sense. Just an expensive mistake for riders. |

Two duplicate tickets in the hat.
Only one ticket was drawn out of the hat. (leaving the other duplicate ticket in the hat)

So it didn't take him very long to earn it back. |
