No idea how this one will go. This is where we see if the rocks are contenders or a mid table team. Winning st home is fine can we do it on the road?

You’re gonna needs binoculars to watch the game on YouTube. The BBL have majorly messed up this season with the camera work.

Nice to see the refs letting contact go one way and not the other and that mba has different rules on his pivot foot.
Shots went from hot to cold a bit there but a good double digit lead with ten to go

Great win. Nice to see the refs read whatsbev at the end of the 3rd!
The way we moved the ball was superb. Scorchers have all the pieces but seem to lack any sort of game plan other than one on one and go go go. Tough to play against at times.

Any kind of win away from home in BBL is a good win nowadays

Rocks were really good tonight. Great team ball. Great movement. Good BBL players. Scorchers need a good point guard. And some plays.

Firstly - fair play to the Rocks. They were far better than the Scorchers tonight and thoroughly deserved to win. Some of the ball movement was fantastic.
The criticism on WhatsBev of Scorchers "one on one" offense is valid but its not the problem. We can score points on anyone - but we are never going to win playing defense as badly as we do. We are still giving up a ridiculous amount of points (31 in Q1, 61 by the half tonight) which makes it almost impossible to win.
I think the Scorchers have gone backwards since we signed MBA. He is clearly a very talented player but at the Scorchers we have failed to find a role for him. He has taken away minutes from two of our most effective players in Hawthorne and White and I think the flow of the team has suffered significantly. He is a good player - but you really need to build your team around him.
Hard to see where Scorchers next win will come from at the moment...

Hard to disagree. A luxury player who dont get me wrong is a top top player. Is he the type that can come in to a semi settled squad and fit in I'm not sure.

I am trying to decide who has made the bigger impact since joining the rocks Thorpe or Vinson? Both can create, both can score in multiple ways and both can defend.

Hard to disagree. A luxury player who dont get me wrong is a top top player. Is he the type that can come in to a semi settled squad and fit in I'm not sure. The teams with star players tend to give them too much of the ball and expect them to score baskets as individuals. Soko at Lions doing the same. If they used them more as team players it would work better I'm sure. Soko or MBA at Riders would be used differently by Rob and we would get better results with them. If they were prepared to sacrifice stats that is.
