Riders may just slip up v Sharks. I don't think so. Not the form we are in now. We won't take you lightly and our young team will be itching to show what they can do again. I'm personally more concerned about the day after away to Lions myself. A big test and a game both teams will need to win if they want to win the league. As I've said already it's maddening we have two weeks without the game and then play Lions away just 16 hrs after we play sharks at home.

Sharks will need to be at there early season form to beat riders now dyb dyb but it’s far from impossible, plus then lions away on a back to back is tough but INF SEEMS confident

Stop moaning man you’ve got the best squad in the league, it should be a breeze IRF We prepare great for repeat games with teams. I'm just greedy that one full week preparing to play each team would put us in perfect shape to max our chances to win both games. (In comparison Lions have 2 full weeks now to prepare solely for our game that weekend) They've got nothing before then.

Riders may just slip up v Sharks. If your bench is as weak as some of your fans are suggesting then we will do some damage with our bench against you

I hate it when we have a 2 week break, often means by the time you've got your game time play in focus you've lost the game. Back to back is far from ideal but the players tend to be far more focused.

Good first quarter. Riders lead by two points. The desire and energy and movement of this young Riders team is a joy to watch. Keep playing like this and Raiders will slowly fall away. Told you. It's like an exhibition game now. 45-68 with 2 mins left in the third Best quarter I've ever seen Riders play Daniel Routledge @dan_routledge · 14h Wow that is an unbelievable spot, I did not see that at all!!! @ridersbball missed their first shot of 3Q (it was blocked) and then made their next 20 shot attempts 🤯🤯 They went 8/8 FT, 10/11 2PT and 2/2 3PT in the third quarter. Amazing!!

If we go down by double digits by the end of the 1st we'll get the game postponed. Oh sorry that's already been done. Seriously I dont think anyone myself included as said anything other than we have a weak bench; compared to teams that you'd expect to be challenging for silverware. Just look at recent siginings; Surrey sign MBA, we resign Eddy Brownall. That says it all. Despite that, I'm looking forward to showing that we can reproduce that form that got us that lead in Sheffield and I'm chuffed that Riders are at full strength, playing well, no injuries, purring like a cat, sorry is that Lions, what do horses do...

Sorry - I get the joke now. I've never been more confident of beating sharks. That's more down to how well we are playing coupled with knowing you have a weak bench We have played ourselves into some great form and you could argue our bench are as strong if not stronger than our starters. We definitely don't seem to lose anything at all when we swap players. We just gain more energy and intensity. This squad has got me very excited

This squad has got me very excited We've had a weak bench for a number of years/seasons, there's nothing new there. As is your much stronger deeper bench, nothing new. We've got a rotation of 7/8 (inc. Shark ball favourite player) I'm hoping that they will be good enough. Fitness, length of time on court may turn out to be a factor in the end but if your guys are having to double team ours, you may need the bench. Riders D have gone missing recently albeit the offence has managed to outscore opponents. Could we be looking at something like 98 v 107. Sorry over taking this thread.

This weekend we kept eagles to 63 and raiders to 74 and scored 100 and 90 ourselves. If you want a prediction for when we play sharks I will say 92-76 And that's being conservative. Even though you didn't officially beat us in the slippery floor match I feel we kind of owe you.

We did actually try and get the game postponed before tip-off. It just took the Refs a full quarter to realise we were right. Don’t worry though, I’m sure our surface will be playable when you come to us so at least you should get your money’s worth.

We were told tickets would be good for the re-match (although we can’t actually make the game). No-one is ever going to cover travel but mother-in-law is in care in Rotherham so we travel up every weekend anyway.
