Riders might slip up here Don’t think Riders losing to Lions away could be considered a slip up.

Riders might slip up here Don’t think Riders losing to Lions away could be considered a slip up. We've gone from worst Riders team in years to being favourites to beat everybody in two games

Tonight's scare when it was down to 4 points may have been just what the doctor ordered - needed to dig deep to see out the game. Hoping we'll be more consistent tomorrow at London. Lions will be much tougher than Sheffield so we have to raise our game and cut out the turnovers. Rebounding will have to be better as well. Gave up too many chances in offence when our shots missed. Need to show more determination and work harder to get that rebound.

An absolute must win game for Lions. Lose & we've thrown away the league title, simple as that. Win & we're still in the mix.
Whatever Riders throw at us we have to be better, more focused & more determined.
Lions haven't put it together for 40 minutes this season, we've had good 10 minute spells, even good 20 minute spells occasionally but never a consistent 40 minutes & we've interspersed those good spells with some very poor basketball! It's time for us to show the league what we're capable of, I wish I was 100% confident we could do that.

It's time for us to show the league what we're capable of, I wish I was 100% confident we could do that. Despite us being in great form. I'm not 100% confident either. i know we will give it our best shot though and won't roll over. Thats all we can do. I know we've got the best coach. And if it's close that could be crucial. No disrespect to Vince. Even Vince knows that. if things aren't going to plan we've got robs timeouts to give us second chances. If things aren't going to plan for Vince his timeouts don't always change things against us. He's a good coach at this level of course. But I know coach wise we have the edge at least. But Lions have talent. And it's a more expensive roster. Can teamwork beat talent today? I hope so. Whoever wins today becomes clear favourites for the league for sure. It's must win for both teams. Not just for Lions. I seriously considered travelling down for this last minute. But I'm just too busy with organising stuff for work to give up a day. Cant wait to watch the game though. Fingers crossed YouTube delivers! i believe the winners of this game will go on to win the league.

Can't agree we are in great form. Yes, we've strung together a run of wins and that's great - BUT we are not yet in great form. Too often we fail to build on significant leads and then allow opposition to come back from the dead. Last night was a good example. Sharks without McKnight ought not to present a problem when we are at home but that wasn't the case. Whoever wins today it will hopefully be an exciting, close game. Their inside players will seek to dominate the boards which we'll have to combat effectively. Most of all, we'll have to shut down Robinson and deny him the opportunities to run their plays. We have the defenders to do that and a deep bench but this will be our toughest game so far.
Just hoping it's watchable on YouTube.

If Riders win, they have the H2H over Lions (2-0)
If Lions win by 8+, they have the H2H over Riders on aggregate score. If Lions win by <7, Riders have the H2H over Lions on aggregate score. If Lions win by 7...............dunno!!
.....but don't write-off Glasgow...

Really looking forward to this... hoping for a big crowd too. Not much more that I can add to what’s already been said, apart from personally I think Lions not only need the win, but a win by 8+ (to get the h2h) to stay favourites for retaining the Championship title. Tough to pick a favourite really... interestingly the bookies have Lions as favourites, although I don’t really know what they’re basing that on. Anyway, getting ready to leave for the game now...

Lions playing really really good basketball. We are taking poor shots and not defending nearly well enough.
Can't see us recovering from this disaster. Love to be wrong but looks like a humiliating loss atm. Losing to Lions is no disgrace but being thrashed? That feels very different.

Shockingly poor start from us. Lions weren't defending well. We were just missing open shot after open shot.
It's going to be really tough to get anything from this now but it's not over yet

Good start from Lions, very long way to go. With Riders winning the 1st game by 7 it's like a 2 leg cup game, Lions in effect up by 10 at this point. Riders could turn around a 17 point deficit, so they can certainly turn around a 10 point one!
Lions big men need to stay out of any further foul trouble.

If ever there was a bad day at the office....... That was a bad journey to work, a bad day in the office and we missed the train home. Apart from that... Lions looked unbeatable today. They were far better.
