Two wins this weekend would really put us back in the championship mix, but I can't see it without CJ

Worcester likely to be without Cortez Edwards, very difficult to see Wolves winning without him.

Why is it embarrassing? Worcester are genuine contenders this season, make no mistake. Don’t forget that Riders only beat Wolves’ 6 man rotation by 4 points at home last time and were previously humiliated by an unfit Amir Williams in the cup semi final. The league is no two team race.

Wolves were good tonight and if everyone is fit for them I would fancy them for the playoffs.

Man, I've lost count of how many times we've been completely blown away on our home court this season. Gotta agree with IRF it was embarrassing tonight. Wolves were so much better than us in every department, very well coached and have talented players in every position. Gettys playing maybe would've kept the score closer but we still would've got beat. Wolves probably had an extra few gears in reserve tonight and were absolutley coasting. We were a million miles away from winning that game
I've talked about effort a lot this season when we've been beaten, but I don't think that was so much of an issue tonight. We only have 3 players that can create their own shot (Glasgow, Fletcher and Morsell), everyone else is relying on an assist and it just makes our offence look completely stagnant. We are bereft of ideas and we have so many lost possessions where we just don't look like scoring. There seems to be very little motivation or ideas come from the bench as well. Our roster is littered with slow, ponderous players. Will Saunders looks like he's never stepped foot on a court, we definitely have done the worst out of the carcus of the Royals.
As I've already said, the league is a write off this season. Our roster is woeful and I wouldn't be surprised to see us finish around the 0.500 mark. We've used our 2 Manchester games up already and that really flatters our position in the standings. We'll be scrapping around at the lower end of the playoff placings come the end of the season unless there is some kind if miraculous turnaround.
Our best chance of success is the Trophy but I really think we go in to that as underdogs. We don't do well against well coached teams, and we are weak in that department in my opinion.
Notwithstanding all my moaning about Newcastle, Wolves played well and thoroughly deserved the win. I usually sit behind the away bench and enjoy observing the coaches. The Wolves coach is definitely one of the most impressive I've seen this season, he's dynamic and seems on top of things at all times. It's the polar opposite of what I see from our home bench.
Woeful night

Can it?

I wonder how many clubs who’ve changed their coach or not, regret not giving Mr Newby a call post Leeds demise?
Wolves certainly did some odd things last year but at least they seemed to have learnt their lesson

Let me get this straight - i’ve just got in to find both Eagles and Riders have lost, and Riders’ no.1 fan spent his team’s match watching us lose ? Surely he should come clean and rename himself IEF ?

They've beaten better teams on their way to the final, so I really don't see why not. They seem like a well coached team that shoot the ball well, we struggle against teams like that. I'm not confident going in to next Sunday.

When we had Schlitzter, Saunders and Williams on court at the same time that was awful mind. He's tried it a few times and it's been a disaster.

Worcester were excellent.
Eagles were crap.
And seemingly Leicester are almost as bad.

So Eagles lost by 15+ and never got within 10 in the 2nd half. Did the Eagles bench call a single timeout in that half? I can’t be certain but don’t think so. Can anyone explain that? It can’t be that nothing could have been improved. Maybe he has lost the players? Or run out of ideas?
