Can anyone reorder the top 5 league places with all the Manchester matches removed ? I think it would reveal the real favourites....

And I agree with Baldeagle - I want to give Ian a chance, but a big question mark is hanging over our coach

We've also had Plymouth away and played both Surrey games so we've played most of the bottom teams. As I say I think the fixture list flatters our season so far and I expect us to be in the lower end of the playoff places.

So Eagles lost by 15+ and never got within 10 in the 2nd half. Did the Eagles bench call a single timeout in that half? I can’t be certain but don’t think so. Can anyone explain that? It can’t be that nothing could have been improved. Maybe he has lost the players? Or run out of ideas? Just lots of wandering around and shaking of the head coming from our home bench tonight. The body language gave me no hope of any kind of comeback. There is just no dynamism at all, I'm not blaming solely the coaching (our roster is poor), but it certainly doesn't exude confidence in me. The polar opposite of what was in front of me from the Wolves bench. He certainly was setting a high standard for his team despite the comfortable lead.

The Eagles commentators mentioned the Eagles coach had already called two timeouts and they had made zero difference to the way the team was playing Which maybe answers your question in a roundabout way

You should have broke the bank to get Newby On last night's evidence I couldn't agree more with you. I certainly enjoyed watching him operate and he just had a knack for saying the right things at the right time and appearing to be fully in control at all times. Obviously things went his way last night so that's easy to say, but even pre game he looked locked in with a plan. We started off with a decent run in the 3rd quarter, he called a timeout, made some adjustments and that was that really. Trying not to base my whole opinion on the one game but he looked the real deal to me. On another note, Wolves brought quite a few fans up last night which was nice to see.

The dressing room scenes they posted on social media last week wouldn’t suggest that but what on Earth was going on yesterday? So passive all the coaching staff, just contrast with Matt newby!!!
