Who actually chooses/picks these so called plays of the week?
What are the definations to be entitled to be a play of the week? Do there have to be a number of dunks, blocks etc?
Time and time again we have seen some great team basketball (plays) down at Ponds Forge (Not all from just Sharks) but none have been selected and then having seen the choices we've been given, it's a wonder how they've managed to get into plays of the week. If we, shark fans are thinking this, are there fans up and down the country thinking the same.
A few of us have made comments on fb and twitter about this weeks selection as we feel that the play, passing, team ball that leads up to Nick Lewis scoring a 3 is much, much better than the choices we have been given to vote for.
Any thoughts?

Personally I think there’s very little value in it, in terms of using it to judge talent at least. But have you seen the numbers of people who actually vote for it? It’s minuscule, so I wouldn’t worry too much that the nominations are questionable. The whole thing is relatively pointless, apart from a bit of self-promotion. In my opinion anyway.

When Benecos came in with the money I expect they were promised loads of things regarding publicity of their name/ brand. No doubt the naming of the extremely important and widely voted on " Play of the week" was another carrot whereby the name would become known to the thousands of basketball fans who voted every week and waited with excitement to see the results. Ooops!
But hey, it's got it's own thread on Whatsbev.....how much more publicity do they want?
