Please hersey don't let me distract you from your latest blog . I would want to distract you from telling the world just how sh8t all the girls in your under 14s team are (apart from one of course!) And how blinkered their parents are because they are only interested in talking about their own kids stats and not your kids stats! Lol You simply couldn't make it up! Parents put their faith and trust in coaches to look after their kids and do and say the right things And you just slag the kids and the parents off behind their backs?? It’s years since I’ve seen a take as cold as that one.
Given herseys commitment to and involvement with all aspects of the sport over decades (for very little reward)
If he was directing comments at me on here the first thing I would be doing is reviewing my own position. Not firing off personal insults and bringing kids into it.
Each to their own I suppose.

All he does is stalk me on here with snidey weasle like comments? And yet you want me to accept that just because hes got year's of working hard in basketball with little reward? That's got nothing to do with basketball at all. The fact he's become a sad snidey ******* isn't my fault. I've just read his latest blog where he's slagged me off (so what I'm used to that), but far worse slagged off the ability of half the kids in his under 14s girls team and then as usual slagged off their parents as well. I've bit my lip the amount of times he's done that in the past whilst always singing the praises of his own kid who he names every week etc etc etc. Who incidentally I would never name. I feel sorry for the kid. I hope to God her team mates never read the blog for her sake. It's entirely down to hersey that anyone who reads his blogs knows all about his kid and how good they are and how crap her team mates are. I don't care how much he's put into the sport and for how little reward. That means nothing when it comes to being a coach of a kids team and treating the parents and other girls in the team with some level of respect. Parents of young kids put trust and faith into the coach of their kids. And they deserve respect in public even if it's lacking behind closed doors. Rather than ridicule in a blog. No amount of basketball knowledge makes up for lack of respect. So if you want to lecture someone about bringing kids into stuff you need to be directing that at hersey and not me. That's down to him. He does his daughter zero favours at all the way he talks about her and her team mates on social media. If he's going to take the pxss he should stick to doing it with adults not under 14s And he's been doing it for years He slags off all the parents in his team for being blinkered yet he's clearly the most blinkered of the lot. None of the others are writing blogs about how great their kids are and how crap the rest are? How would you feel if coaches of young kids teams at Eagles were slagging off parents and the lack of ability of 14 year old players on social media? I would like to think he wouldn't last another week as a coach with you? So if you want to review your position feel free But I'm not reviewing mine. I should have pulled him up for it many times before before instead of just cringing and turning a blind eye He's betraying the trust of parents and kids in his team by talking about them in a blog like he does. And he's been doing it for years now. There's been worse before trust me! Unacceptable. The guy has zero boundaries. Maybe that's his problem. But I'm not being stalked by the basketball kit anymore. Sorry to the mods - like I say ban me unless you are going to stop the handsome man because every time he makes a comment at me I will just keep calling him out for being the sad tw8t that he is Read his blog and then tell me honestly whether you would allow a coach of a junior girls team talk about players and parents like he does? Oh dear. I (jokingly - for what it's worth) call IRF boring and he goes out his way to prove me right. Eight posts - including answering the same reply repeatedly, because boring us to death once just isn't enough - and 11 PMs, including some rather tasty threats which must break the board's terms of use.
And having broken his boycott of my blog (how I've coped is a mystery), he's decided to jump on the moral high ground about my posts re my daughter's team with long a tedious rants including comments like this
Which has one, rather fundamental flaw; I'm not the coach of the team. I'm not the assistant coach of the team. Or the team manager. I don't coach games, I don't take practice, I don't even hand out advice. I did once take the balls to an away game, I got them an extra friendly for the ones who don't play much and a 20-0 victory. But not of that led to me causing potentially fatal damage to any kids. And they think I'm great for the latter two things  So, like the other 11,373 posts from IRF, all that bluster and all those words are crap. |

I’m a former poster who has rarely visited this forum over the last few years and did not bother to make an account on this new version of Whatsbev purely because of your incessant, uninformed posts. The sad thing is I am far from the only one, with many great contributors long gone. How, after all these years of following basketball now, you still have no clue what you are talking about is baffling. Constant posts on thread after thread, repeating the same tired point that has already been disproved. You were doing it when you first joined and somehow you appear to still be doing it now. I don't think your name is quite accurate. Bev just has a virus, admittedly a bad one. The fact that he had to answer you twice (completely changing the first moronic reply) and immediately claims to be an expert of forum basketball kits pretty much sums him up. There's nothing he isn't an expert on, needs to tell us just how much he knows and will batter into submission anyone who dares to disagree with him. That he wants someone banned because they disagree with him is pretty damning.
It seems like some kind of mental illness.

I doubt he has time to read your endlessly boring posts, let alone your PMs FAO KO25 The above was herseys reply to me on page one of this thread when I was replying to 2NFR Uptil then the debate was fine and normal Yet hersey comes in with a comment like that which is the umpteenth time he has done that to me in recent months If it was the first time or he was genuinely joking then I would not have reacted I apologize to the mods and the forum for my abuse of him. But he had it coming from me. And so yes I reacted but hersey is the one who made a totally unnecessary comment purely as a snidey dig. And if that's the way we roll on here if he does it again I will abuse him back. If he doesn't I won't. I treat others with respect on here. I have banter but it's not nasty banter. He's crossed a line with me in recent weeks. I can find plenty more examples. I'm sure there's some code of conduct on here he's breached and of course I have in reply. I apologize for mine. He won't. He thinks he can just get away with saying what he wants to or about anyone. And he's basketball kited me ongoing for weeks now? No idea what he gets out of it |
