If the season was to end now, I know it’s only postponed at the moment but am sure it will be cancelled very soon.
Then who would be your teams players of the year.
Mine for the Newcastle Eagles would be........
MVP - CJ Getty’s
Most Improved Player - Eddie Mathew
Team Player - Drew Lasker
For the league MVP - CJ Getty’s
Defensive Player - Amir Williams
British Player - Nick Lewis
Rookie of the year (or just best new player to the league) - Parker Jackson Cartwright.

Team player being the booby prize. Works hard but not stand out? There’s a few who could challenge for that. Eddie M continues to improve. I thought his minutes at Leeds and Matt Newby contributed to his improvement.
Nick Lewis too inconsistent fir me. Think makes takhem said ‘ if he fires Sharks win if he didn’t they lose’. Justin maybe not as stand out as previous years but still my Brit of the year from what I’ve seen on you tube.
Fraser could compete for all awards except newcomer. Ben Mockford, Ovie Soko?
Off topic but if we see a next season start normally would you keep the formats used this year for the competitions. Big shame we never saw the best of 3 in the play offs.

For the rocks im a bit in the minority.
Mvp: dante thorpe. He changed our season when he arrived.
Most improved: Ali Fraser he has been superb this season. Improved all aspects of his game and seems to have cut out the basic mistakes.
Team player: Gareth murray top class player. I still feel is highly disregarded by some on here. Real team and glue guy. Will defend the main wing or score you 20points. Looked to be hitting the heights of a player we haven't seem before.
League mvp: hard to look by gettys but i really liked the nix poing guard.
Brit of the year: ali fraser
Newcomer: ovie soko

Eagles fan too so here goes..
MVP - CJ Getty’s (hard to look past as we were awful without him)
Most Improved Player - Eddie Mathew (looked great prior to his injury)
Team Player - Darius Defoe (playing big minutes all season while injured)
For the league MVP - PJC
Defensive Player - CJ Gettys
British Player - Ali Fraser
Rookie of the year (or just best new player to the league) - Cortez Edwards
