Following on from the other MVP post, let's see your season end all star 5s assuming the season is over. As we didn't have a lot of league games, let's says its combined for both trophy and cup.

It's a decent list. Although I'd have to make room for Brandon Peel somewhere on it (who I suspect has unfortunately now played his last BBL game).

It's a decent list. Although I'd have to make room for Brandon Peel somewhere on it (who I suspect has unfortunately now played his last BBL game). Peel was awesome last season but I don't think he reached the same heights this past campaign. Is that because of the Ovie factor, are other teams/ coaches able to handle him more or was it his playing in a team that wasn't as strong all round this year? Still can't look past PJC, minutes played, points scored, skill level, contribution to team play, number of assists and an unbelievable number of steals off every PG in the league. Only CJ and Cortez Edwards come close but in the case of CJ, came late and missed a chunk of late season games. |

More talented than Dinnuno? Yes I think so, both outstanding ball players able to take a game over completely and capable of winning it single handed. Think PJC was more of a player who could do that but also create far more for his team mates than Mike could. Noticeable early season when PJC was on a different page to others in the team, putting in passes others didn't expect or providing space than others couldn't see was there. I think he was able to raise the level of the team by his actions and also the mere presence of him with the ball. Don't think Dinnuno could do that as well, he had the ability to create so much space/ time for himself, but two outstanding point guards. Wonder what next season will bring whenever that is. Really impressed with the ability of the club to find and attract such quality players ( mind you also capable of some real plonkers too)!!!!! |

Andrew Lawrence and Ben Mockford above Nick Lewis Lewis scrapes in on cup form. Lawrence finished the season without a team didnt he? Plus was injured plus i dont think i actually saw him play. Mockford on his day he is in but id put him and nick lewis in the when there good their great and when they aren't on it he is pretty pants |

Is Robbie Peers still involved at Phoenix? He used to be involved with recruitment there. Not sure if he still is.

Young Mr. Peers is a regular attender at home games, he does sit on the far side and apart from a chat with friends ( gosh remember the days when you could do that)!!!! Doesn't seem to involve himself in anything to do with the team. That's not to say he has some input in recruitment or involved in non match day club matters, but I don't think so. I always say hello to him and his mum whose a very very long time supporter.
