There’s a bit on Mike Burton in the Facebook page which is far more interesting. He picks his Cheshire all time team. It’s a great bbl team.

I was there at the Ellesmere High School when top of the NBL Cheshire Jets hosted eighth-placed Birmingham Bullets in the Playoff Quarter-Finals.
Against the odds we did them.
Dave Gardner was their main man at the time.
Their school venue was very strange with really steep seating.
Bullets then took over Jets top-seeding to win at the AVLC in the semis - from memory it might have been an OT win with notoriously shaky free throw shooter Clive Allen having to sink free throws to extend the game.
After that Bullets went on to win the Playoff Final at the NEC against Bury Lobos who featured a young star in Tony Holley.
