Why do you do the blogs Hersey? Is it to cling in some way to the thought of being a journalist? Why not just put the stuff on here- we’re the only ones surely who read them - unless you ‘advertise’ them elsewhere? You could do a sub forum thread of:- My Caitlin- she’s great and too good to play with anyone else Cider- I take my daughter to events and drink daytime pints disturbingly Basketball - I slag off everyone in the game despite an involvement in one of the worst performing clubs in recent years with ****e coach and ex BBL players. you handsom mans - here I bully everyone as a). My involvement in lower league basketball - have all meant I know more than anyone else and I shall not be questioned. OK, I'm bored, no basketball anywhere except Taiwan? Craving the return of the Eagles and Riders. How long can this go on? The PL will play without crowds, hopefully the BBL can at least start play next season as its not like they will have 50,000 in the arenas like football. Is it far fetched to have a BBL season 20/21? I can't see why not even with this distancing in effect. Touch wood!

Hersey take the head up his own arse award. He trash talks more than he can back up physically and from what Ive witnessed is a drunk loser and an embarrassment to everyone near him. IMHO I'm just wondering have you forgot your login details or to why you've not logged in to say this? He will as well I've been sent a photo of him in an emoji! s0259  We'll leave it a little bit longer yet as it's helping me wean out the registered users who are too ashamed of themselves and pose as guests to abuse people. So if you notice anyone maybe gone missing that's probably why and it'll be a better place in the long run. SM11 has been an excellent edition we probably wouldn't have got otherwise. |

Leave the unregistered alone. Some of them provide a valuable service in improving the literacy of this forum.
Especially do not "wean them out" 
While I agree that SM11 has been an excellent new poster I am unsure why he needs to be referred to as someone who has been published. However I guess if it was me you were referring to I would prefer to be published rather than "weaned out".

I started on a forum on another subject many years ago. It grew very large and I eventually passed ownership and control to the members of what had become my moderating team. It now has tens of thousands of users and over 2 million posts. Allowing guest posting has never been allowed. Judging by Whatsbev's experiment with it, I am so glad I set it up that way.

While it's been nice to go down memory lane for a bit and see there's still a couple of the old gang here, I think it's probably best if you end this guest experiment.

Hi, thank you for the compliments. By the way I have been a lurker here since the early stages of the 02-03 season and I did post on here roughly around 2010-2014 but got out of routine. I will try to make sure I be more active on here as whatsbev has genuinely always been one of my favourite website in all of the internet. I can remember when i discovered this it was huge to me. Back then we didnt have live scores. Back then if you wanted to see your teams results it was a matter of waiting roughly an hour and three quarters after the tip off time and jump on bbl.org or teletext lol to wait for the final score to show up. Then i discovered whatsbev which had someone posting the score of games as they went through. It was such a relief back then. I can remember one time where I had been unable to find out a score the night before (i must have been out or something) of when I think we had played Sheffield. I could have just went straight to bbl.org to see what happened, but no, not good enough. I had to find the thread on here and read it from post 1 to find out what had happened. It was the next best altenative to being there or watching on tv lol.
