Long shot, but I'm after an authentic bbl jersey from 97-99 era, ideally Towers or Leopards.
I've been hoping a 98-99 Towers jersey or a playboy greater London leopards jersey would pop up on eBay but they never have.
I realise these jerseys probably are not in existence anymore but thought it was worth a shot

Rogerduhaneyfanclub - I have no link for either of those two jerseys, but I do know that my driver still has a Milton Keynes Lions jersey from around the time that they played out of that dump in Bletchley that used to have an upturned shopping-cart in the pond outside it.
I can also recall a time when the same venue used to have an aerial covered walkway entering it at a higher level for some reason.
Have managed to locate a pic of said venue.
We can all see the back of Paternostro (if only!), but here's the poser for you - how many of the other players can you name? A bonus point if you can name Lions#14.

Hi Roger - I refuse to accept anyone who did so little but sweated so much (not) doing it has a fan club - I do have a playboy tv leopards shooting shirt somewhere. But I couldn't possibly give it to one of you lot.

I remember being at a game somewhere (I can't remember where) and there was a guy with a blue Pete Deppisch jersey on. It was like XXL kinda baggy so I'm assuming it was his actual game worn jersey. I was a towers fan, but I always remember thinking Playboy was the coolest sponsor for a team. Didn't playboy sponsor a club in Finland also at the time? Honka? |

About a year ago the guy that used to run the merchandise stand for Towers when they played at Crystal Palace had a few old vest/balls etc advertised on eBay. I think it was random stock he was left with from when Towers folded but some of it was definitely 90s. I can't find him on eBay now but his business was called Steve's American Sports if that helps to track him down. Really nice guy, I think he might have gone on to run a stand for Lions at the Copperbox when they moved there?
Google says the Finnish team you're looking for were Honka Espoo Playboys!

I've never been a massive collector/buyer of vests. So I'm no use to you. I liked the playboy shooting shirt, though. I spent a few quid at Steve's stall. To answer wembleycourt, Towers were stinking it up in the EuroCup. it became the saporta cup the following season |
