Yes I am real. He has made personal remarks about clubs and volunteers across various regions who have been recognised which is poor. Not stirring just making my point.

Its just getting a bit tiring seeing registered users disregard basic grammar.
What is a sleight? Is it
a. something used on a roof? b. something used to career down hills in the winter? c. an 'e' away from an insult?

Useful input.

As a fully paid up member of the Apostrophe Police and at the very least a PCSO in the Grammar Police I do get Pedant's concerns, though Scotball is far being the worst in this regard. Of more concern should be that "New" is too stupid to avoid completely derailing a thread by bringing up a completely different subject. I put this down to stupidity. While they search for a cure to the plague, I hope they find a cure for stupidity, as well, although I don't hold out much hope.
I'm happy to debate the today's blog article, but I'll stick to my opinion. If you can't see there's something wrong with a system that gives the stats award to the club who have the worst record in D1 (by a long way) than clearly I will be wasting my time.

Well done for your reply and your opinion. Your portraying a great picture of yourself as GM of a national league division 1 club and showing a professional approach by slating other clubs and volunteers across the country. Good luck to you.

daveballblog.wordpress.com/2020/04/24/this-awards-thing/I wonder why this Hersey guy is bitter about volunteers getting recognised. It is sad really and shows some jealousy. Stop moaning about others who are volunteering in the game. They are doing a great job in the game and you are not the only one who is involved in basketball in the country. So what we've got here is someone who lacks credibility and shows a major lack of basketball knowledge while completely changing the direction of a very good and interesting topic of discussion if this continues to happen throughout the board with a major deviation from the original topic then threads will be locked. You could have started your own thread but instead to hi-jack this one. t3725

Because they wanna' play. I'd have thought as a former pretend college player you'd get that. And if it's your living, regardless of not getting rich, you'll want to do it rather than get the boring "normal" job you'll be stuck in when your career ends. The reality is that there's little chance of a fit 25-year-old dying of it because he played a game of basketball. There's probably as much chance as dying on the drive to the game. Especially if they're imports.
I presume you plan to steer clear of public transport in London until 2022?
I have no doubt the vast majority of sports players will want to play and will feel safe doing so It's whether they are allowed to play under social distancing. Or whether the amount of tests they have to have each week to be allowed to play is viable for anything other than sports with big money behind them to fund. Let's see if Germany does allow the Bundesliga to start in May and if so what the players have to go through each week to be declared safe to play It should give us an idea what's coming our way next

Thanks for your opinion about my knowledge and credibility, not that it has a lot to do with what I said. Sorry I will make a new thread in the future.

If you want credibility, register and build some. I could log off and post as "guest" and destroy any you may think you have. I'm happy to discuss the specifics of today's blog, but if the crux is "you can't have an opinion because you're a D1 GM", let's not bother. It's an independent blog, I've said it before basketball needs more people expressing an opinion, not less.

Lol I am fine thanks, I have nothing to prove. You can have all the attention, enjoy yourself you seem to be in your element being negative of others. Your allowed your opinion but try to be more professional and respectful while your involved in the game. I will leave it at that, good luck.

Thought so. Basically you're (note spelling, I'm saving pedant a job) full of crap. I guess you're bored, but I wonder why you bothered with such nonsense

I think all remarks made in that instance could be very easily backed up Leicester Warriors are well known for being a total mess, it's common knowledge.

Unregistered users so far all seem to have one thing, well mainly one person, in common. Let’s ditch this experiment or at least wait until there is some basketball back on. Maybe then we will get unregistered users with some decent input rather than trying to bait Hersey all the time.......

An arena with 1500 seats You wouldn't want anybody on any seats next to you in front or behind at the very least. That's 5 seats per person minimum. So 300 max in a 1500 arena. Even that may be too many. Although I guess family members could sit together. By then we will probably all be wearing masks and goggles (once they've made enough) And I guess players would just have to trust none of them have got it Can they even let players compete without testing every day? Sounds like a typical Royals or Leeds home game 😜
