At what point did you decide it was time to retire (what were the things that lead up to you deciding) Do you ever just play local league now or are you completely done?

How prevalent was/is recreational drug taking in BBL? Not really my thing so not entirely sure. Assumed a decent amount of guys were smoking weed, but not a big deal in my opinion.

My last year playing I thought would be my last. I was getting near 30. Had a masters degree and knew I wanted to get involved in the Finance world. Hard to be 30 year old junior analyst so wanted to get in there before crossing that threshold

Best import signing the club made whilst you were at Riders and why? Worst signing and why? Best: Trayvon Wright my first year. Massive boost to our season Worst: Mike Rodriguez.... the guy came off the plane with a broken foot lol also billy reader wasn’t a great one. All the reports said he was 6’10” he showed up and was 6’7” 35 pounds over weight and couldn’t catch Your thoughts on T Wright's treatment by Riders?

It doesn't seem many BBL players go on and have great careers after basketball? You are obviously an exception.
Do you keep in touch with others you played with?
Are there any success stories with them?

Obviously a very talented player. Had a great time that year, all time great team. Prob could have been in better shape but honestly he would play the entire game if you let him. Great great team mate

Have you heard anything good or bad about Lions new owners?

I’m not Too involved with the details there but a few thoughts. I know it couldn’t have been easy for the club to have cut him, that would have been a very very difficult decision. In terms of treatment of players overall Riders have to be at the top of the league. Rowe broke his knee and he continued to get paid. This new guy mo Williams hurt they have kept him around ... prob not another team in the league that would do this. Unfort things don’t always have a happy ending and this one just didn’t close out as cleanly as we would hope

Are there any success stories with them? I’m not sure if I agree there. There are a number of former players doing some really great things. I keep in touch with a lot of former players. It’s hard to talk to everyone all time but periodically text with and chat to lot of the guys including Rob

Really nice guy and he always got good players, strong/ tough teams and they would compete a good level. They were always one of the strongest teams in the league. No idea about new owners

Best coach in BBl (not counting Rob) and why? [b Would have been Fab for sure. His achievements speak for themselves but you can always tell they had a game plan and were well prepared

When you first came to the BBL what were your initial thoughts on the league and whats your opinion now? Honestly didn’t have a lot of thoughts coming into my experience in the U.K. the quality of basketball is much higher at the top of the league than I think is given credit. It’s just a bummer that the compensation isn’t on par with other leagues like Belgium where the quality of basketball is all that better but compensation is much higher
