They sent out an email today to all current season ticket holders to say they will be issued with 2 game tickets for use whenever things get going again. So you can take a guest to a couple of games or use them for yourself if you havnt renewed by then.

How many home games would Wolves season ticket holders have missed out on this season? So no kind of refund option at all?

And I've just realised this must be alongside the opportunity to buy a new season ticket?

Kevin Routledge has emailed Riders' season tickets holders, explaining the BBL decisions and including this: "That means there will be additional home games, and we intend to include the additional games in the season ticket package for next season, to compensate for the games we were unable to complete this season. What has not yet been set in stone is the date for the opening of the season. Obviously we would like that to be similar to previous seasons, but with Government guidance changing rapidly, the BBL believed it was prudent to hold off announcing a planned date until there was additional guidance. Riders will be back in touch with all our season ticket holders on the package for next season in the near future, so you can make your decisions. We do hope you will regard this as a reasonable approach but if you have any concerns please do not hesitate to contact us."
I'm not exactly sure what that implies about season ticket pricing but it hints of holding it level even though there will be (hmmm, let's see) more games in the season.

I'm not exactly sure what that implies about season ticket pricing but it hints of holding it level even though there will be (hmmm, let's see) more games in the season. All Kevin will be trying to do now is help the club survive. And help the arena survive. If anyone can find a way he will. He deserves to as he's dedicated so much of his time to building something for Leicester itself and Riders fans. The problem for everybody is the uncertainty. You can't actually plan anything with any confidence. If someone was to say Riders fans need to raise 50k to keep the club afloat etc I'm sure we would somehow. But you can't even say that would be enough with any certainty as we don't know when we will be able to start again and how restricted we will be when we start again. And what clubs will be around to compete with us if we survive this. Nightmare. Ps I take the message above to be hoping that existing season ticket holders don't ask for refunds this season. Knowing they will get a better deal whenever next season starts. And I don't expect many fans at all to ask for refunds unless they themselves are really struggling financially We are all in this together

I think when it comes to asking for a refund from small business Martin Lewis has been spot on. If you need it then you are entitled to ask. If you don't need it then try and find a better way that supports that business if you want it to survive.
Could be vouchers or for small amounts just writing it off.
100% though those who need the money back should not be afraid to ask or made to feel bad about it. Running a business comes with risks and responsibilities.

And I've just realised this must be alongside the opportunity to buy a new season ticket? It is unconditional. All 2019/2020 Wolves season ticket holders are entitled to two free 2020/2021 home game tickets per season ticket (equivalent to their pricing level), whether they renew or not. Excluding the play-offs, there were two remaining home games. I think it is a sensible approach. Not only does the club avoid having to deal with partial refunds, it could also introduce many new fans to the club as STHs pass their free tickets to friends or family.

"We are all in this together"? You cannot be serious. Have you been asleep the last couple of weeks?

Yes but I assume it is to prevent a refund request? That's why I asked the question above about how many home games have wolves season ticket holders not been able to attend due to Covid ending the season early?

The bigger issue on Whatsbev is unregistered users. I get why KO introduced them as we do need some new blood. However the general tone on here has dropped dramatically with only one or two exceptions proving to add anything.
The post above is a classic example. As a non registered user I don’t believe you have the right to complain about two registered users who, whether you like/agree with them or not, have contributed a huge amount of opinion and content to the forum.
So either go jump in your Tardis or get registered, post stuff other than moaning about existing users and then maybe come back and have a whine if you are still not happy.

I did absolutely nothing in the locked thread other than debate the question. Don't blame me for that thread being locked at all. A poster doesn't like what I say so attacks the poster not the debate. Happens all the time on here
Guests are one of the biggest problems on here. 80 per cent are keyboard warriors like the guy above. The 20 per cent of good ones should have no problem registering at all.

Just putting this out there before this page ultimately gets locked too.
There has been in the last few months, what can only be described as a barrage of abuse and threats of violence against one user. It's very sad to read, I can only imagine what they're going through. Far too many people think what you type on the internet isnt real, but it really is. If any user is getting this level of abuse please feel free to dm me anytime. I'm bigger than most, I've got skin as thick as a rhino and I'll stand with you.
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend

Without being horrible or provocative I really hope he seeks some help as I’m concerned about him at times:-(

I think we're reaching the point where we can close it the guests. You'd be interested to know that the 80 percent you mention are actually registered users posing as guests. I can only presume they think that being a guest doesn't allow me to view who they are in this case it's mainly someone who's made like 16 or 17 posts and doesn't really contribute anything constructive anyway. This one's posted under 7 different names in the past week for example which is clear indicator it's time to start looking to close the guests down. It just means we won't be able to have our fun with GetReal anymore.

That's pretty tragic. Registering but being too scared to post under your "name". I can only put it down by being terrified of death threads via the PM system.
