Saw Ovie the other day and to say he laughed at Vince’s coaching was an understatement so I can’t imagine what this ex NBA player will think! Of course you did. Come on now. I saw Ovie last week too. On Sky Sports.

I think it’s recognised that many clubs don’t see the cost of a coach as their highest priority in the bbl. I know of an div 2 NBL league player who was shocked that lay up lines were part of a bbl training session when he joined mid season. There are exceptions but financially it’s where we are.

Anyone who thinks Vince is a top coach needs to watch more basketball. Respect is there for what he has achieved in the league however he has more coaches and a bigger bench than every other team.

One thing I'll give him credit for is what he lacks in Xs and Os he makes up for by being able to manage egos relatively well. God knows hes had a few down the years.
