Bit of a random bump but I remembered a couple of comments in here questioning how well he would do in France and I think it’s pretty crazy he’s pretty much averaging the same/better in almost every stat compared to his BBL stats, absolutely killing it in a very, very good league

He had great numbers in Spain (arguably better league), Greece and whenever he played Champions League too. It’s not a surprise to me.

Does look like he's fallen in love with basketball again, played a big part in the recent GB wins. Didn't impress me at all when playing in the BBL though.

He actively avoided any sessions he could and went to Gaz Maitland instead (whose relationship with Vince Macaullay is frosty to say the least) |

His attitude at Lions was poor, he clearly didn't care & it showed. He was completely unprofessional IMO. He's clearly a talented player who didn't put the effort in whilst playing for Lions.

It was a marriage of convivence, which he voluntarily opted into (to allow him the capitalise on his new reality tv fame). His heart was never in it. Rightly or wrongly his focus was elsewhere, regardless of the quality of play and coaching at Lions and in the BBL in general. |
