Is this guy even good? Stats on realgm are meh. Summer league invite probably due to his dad. College number not that standout, 1 year pro and is 28?

That new vavel journo team are going crazy for this guy. What am i missing Reading between the lines the vavel team seem very connected with the Giants analyst guy Tom Fletcher? Don't know his background but he has some very strong takes. Looks pretty decent player from last year of college. Edited to say level in Germany he put up numbers in wasn't the best but he did well there. |

Feels a little mean ripping on any team's recruitment, least of all Giants', at a time when I think most of us are just hoping our clubs and the league survive. But the way they're hyping this guy is laughable. 11 ppg on 38% shooting as a 5th year senior in the MAAC is hardly impressive. And aside from a short and unsuccessful stint in the Mexican second tier, he's doesn't appear to have played in a remotely noteworthy league since then. Played 4th tier in Germany.
I've no idea who Tom Fletcher is but if he thinks this is one of the 'biggest signings in BBL history' I hope for Giants' sake the guy doesn't have much influence. I doubt his dad was anywhere near as good but I'd have been more impressed if they'd brought back Mike McCall.
