Has everyone not blocked 'dunkster' yet? No reason to block me, Hersey instigates all of this crap and brings it onto himself clearly.

Has everyone not blocked 'dunkster' yet? No reason to block me, Hersey instigates all of this crap and brings it onto himself clearly. The two of you are quite often as bad as each other… but actually you instigated this one. He raised a valid question (about why Government is saying indoor sports could return in October), and you then gave a valid answer (about it being not to insight panic). Fine, good conversation there. Then you returned to form by questioning his intelligence and implying he had a low IQ. Why can’t we just have a civil conversation for a change? There's good debate and discussion to he had on this subject. Why do we always have to include an insult in every reply?

Riders' season ticket sales will soon be on sale, according to Russell Levenston elsewhere on social media.
The new uniforms are available on pre-order (look good, too).
I've offered to do some online fundraising if it will help.

Dunkster has left the building. Presumably even he knew his argument was nonsense. Shame he won't be around when the season starts.
I wonder what his new persona will be called.....

Depressing piece on e Midlands news tonight covering riders. Poor Russell looked close to tears when asked about consequences of no fans.

So why are the government advising that they expect fans to be allowed at games in October? Because the government has to at least try to protect the economy! Just like they are giving vouchers to go to eat INSIDE restaurants. All of this is window dressing including Lions playing on 15 Sep, Riders signing players etc. Doing otherwise will just insight panic. Dude, I thought you were smart, guess not. You are really showing your IQ here. I know Boris said he was hoping supporters would be able to start going back into stadiums in October. At the same time the Government have said they will close pubs and restaurants if necessary to allow schools to open Pubs and restaurants are steps ahead of spectator events in relaxation of lockdown I'm personally expecting outdoor spectator sports to have a chance of fans this winter Indoor sports would surely have to be very low capacity if at all

Well they did trial indoor spectators at the snooker for all of one day before having to put that pilot on hold due to an increasing infection rate in the wider community. One step forward, two steps back unfortunately.

I suspect he hasn’t either.

One step forward, two steps back unfortunately. And not many bought tickets for that. The 30 per cent capacity was more than enough for the demand for tickets for something that normally does well for ticket sales A warning for other sports clubs. It's not just about being allowed to have fans. It's about how many fans will feel safe travelling and watching etc

The only reason Id pay to watch Boris Johnson do anything would be if I was close enough to hit him with more than one brick.

Well, seeing as no one else appear to have started it, I thought I'd better give online fundraising a shot. If you can, please alert your contacts to this and request that they consider donating: www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/riderssos

I'm not a fan of crowdfunding other teams.
I saw it happen in one sport and that team ended up spending the money on new players. I never gave to that one at the time before the spending started.

Might be worth getting in touch. I'm sure they appreciate any support they can get. And I applaud you for trying to make something happen I'm willing to support stuff like this - if there is a plan in place for what the money will pay for and it can make a real difference etc
