Felt last season he wasn't as good. I think it was the players around him. Id still have him as a starting guard on any team. Yes ahead of robinson too.

Well that’s one of our starting five sorted, and a plenty of bench continuity with Darius and Drew, so how about CJ deciding Japan is too risky ?

Fingers crossed for (a) some more decent recruits and (b) no further lockdown.

Expected back; Themba Yabantu Sauve Kande Eddie Matthew
Possibly back; Kai Williams (has one year left on his Uni course) Will Saunders (is still living in the area possibly, he's been in a few of Drews workout videos)
After that who knows. I'm not expecting any of last seasons imports back.

Afraid I didn't rate the two possibilies either last season.

If its the same bunch of vets minus CJ and Mike Morsell with Fletch having to do his best James Harden impression for 40 minutes a game like it was at times last year it'll be a disaster.

Its a positve start and hopefully there's more to come What we need now is a start date for the league and a schedule for the games Know doubt there are discusions going on behind the scenes between the clubs and the BBL (At least I hope there is !! ) We shall see

They also need to know what capacity etc. Very hard to make a plan as both of the above will likely be ever changing according to level of Covid at any stage Optimistically I would say we will be allowed 30 to 40 per cent crowds indoors some time before Xmas Realistically I don't think it will go any higher than that indoors for this season And at certain stages may have to be reined back in Personally can't see how the league and clubs can find a solution to all of the above without the Government bailing them all out Other sports will see spectator income as a bonus and make a plan without it BBL unlikely to be able to do that

I always feel the williams bros are an easy target but both have had good bbl seasons in the past. Is it the fact they've bounced around clubs?

I always feel the williams bros are an easy target but both have had good bbl seasons in the past. Is it the fact they've bounced around clubs? Can only comment on what I've seen at Eagles, but they've both been fairly ineffectual in my opinion. Kai was especially frustrating to watch this season just gone due to how passive he appeared at times when things were going badly. However I wouldn't be too disappointed to see either of them here this year. At this point I would just be happy to see some basketball in person. Have no expectations on what kind of roster we end up with and will support the team regardless.

Great to have Fletch back to lead another exciting roster, I hope! BTW Cortez has signed BUT DD has not. So still at 3 but likely 2 of them are starters.

You could answer some of them personally as a fan if not as a club rep. When do you think the league will restart? Is the league restarting reliant on fans being allowed. And what percentage of capacity is needed to make this viable for clubs if so? Finally assuming some of the above is still up in the air how are our clubs signing players without knowing their income or when the league can restart?

Surely mentioning Covid and where we are ,and trying to get to are linked. (So you cant always have a conversation without mentioning Covid)

Surely mentioning Covid and where we are ,and trying to get to are linked. (So you cant always have a conversation without mentioning Covid) Asking questions about when a season might start and whether it relies on fans attending and how many is surely the most important question for any of us? Jeff is hopefully in a better position than most to at least give a personal opinion if not an official one? Unless everybody on here just wants to avoid asking the question? I really don't see the point of lots of signing announcements from all our clubs if we don't have any realistic ideas of a restart date? With a restart date and a plan of action then the signings all become exciting and people can even start to think about buying tickets etc to watch (if they feel safe to do so etc) Sorry if the question scares some people!! But someone's got to ask the question There's nothing to be scared of

Hersey has answered at least one of your questions on anither post.
But you won't read his answer.
Maybe you should.
There's nothing to be scared of.
