Still should have had an interim period for existing ticket holders. Principle remains the same and no-one could know how many newcomers would/might purchase so that's why you give some leeway.. Yes you are probably right. What I am saying is in reality I don't think new season ticket applications will have an impact on existing season ticket holders who do want to renew

Eagles season ticket holders have already had info through about next week. Have we? When did this come through. I bought my first season ticket this summer and haven't received anything in my emails yet.

Finally, we will be introducing a further option this season, where, if you advise us 72 hours in advance of any home games you are unable to attend, we will put your seats ‘in play’ and, if successfully reallocated, you will be provided with free vouchers to use for purchases at future Riders games or at the Arena, including for food & beverage, or merchandise. Because this is a new scheme we are experimenting this season on how it will work, but importantly, it will give us more flexibility in allocating seats, within Covid safety constraints, and with reduced capacity, and our Season Ticket holders can benefit. The above is clever. Good idea, essentially allowing them to sell the same seat twice (minus the cost of any vouchers offered). Hopefully it works and brings in some extra revenue.

I think it is a good idea, but in truth is probably only going to be used if there is a sell-out or near sell-out crowd. That possibility, I guess, depends on what the capacity constraint is going to be - and also on the public's attitude to sitting in full or near-full inside venues.

That possibility, I guess, depends on what the capacity constraint is going to be - and also on the public's attitude to sitting in full or near-full inside venues. If the "safe" capacity is deemed to be 30 per cent for example then we are looking at a max capacity of 700 ish I would imagine we need to be hitting that every week to be able to pay the wages and costs of having a competitive squad and coach etc to enjoy And honestly if someone said to me today you will definitely be allowed 700 paying customers to watch a full season of basketball in BBL without restrictions I would snap their hand off now and budget accordingly The new social distance rules imposed today aren't encouraging and we've only just started getting kids and students back to where they belong Now if 700 every week isn't enough then I think we've got problems. As the outlook for that increasing very much isn't too great. And as it stands we don't even know if those kinds of numbers will want to attend anyway. There's going to be a lot of ups and downs to come our way I think. At least we have season tickets to even worry about - that's a positive So you would hope that the re-assigning of tickets is actually needed for every game due to the fact the games are on and we have plenty of fans wanting to attend

Think this a good idea, great if you can get something back from a game you can’t attend!
Out of interest has anyone not been able to secure their season ticket based on the free for all approach?

As mentioned in earlier threads Nix are not selling season tickets this season. Previous season ticket holders will have a window available to purchase individual game tickets before going on sale to the 'general public' as well as other things available to season tickets holders. The clubs idea is that previous regular supporters will have first opportunity to watch this season's games, their reward for their previous loyalty. It does look like Leicester didn't quite get it right this time which TBH doesn't happen very often.
