Soon. There's a million issues. I used to take the piss over how long it took to get a BBL fixture list, but it's unbelievable amount of crap to deal with this year.

Think the clubs have some dates for starting the season and ideas of a fixture list. The Eagles have their test event soon and hopefully plans will become a little clearer then.

Duncan Disorderly has decided its besst for him and his propganda wing/supporter club to take on the Scottish Government to force them to open the council owned arena early. He's pretty much been slapped down. Maybe he'll threaten to relocate the franchise to North England and call them the Blockpool Rocks.

A bloke who runs online jumble sales for a living tells the most successful club in the history of British how to run an event. Priceless. I imagine they're waiting to see if they're allowed to run it. As I wrote earlier today, Cambridge United wasted a lot of time and effort only to get told that they couldn't progress with their event.

Surrey are expecting to start at Worcester on Friday 16th and a first home game on 24th. I guess there is some fine tuning in progress, so nothing is definitive yet. Appears that whilst the season will start at the beginning of October, teams have an option to delay their start for a week or two and Surrey have chosen the latter.

....from MVP27....for the BBL Cup
....first round ground and fixtures due to be released next week.
Not sure if the word "ground" is a typo or has some subtle meaning...

I've lost track
Have BBL confirmed anywhere they are prepared to start the season behind closed doors if needed?
Or are the plans for these matches starting reliant on at least some fans being able to pay to attend?

If Hersey had the answer in his reply can someone tell me what it is? Or doesnt he know either? nobody knows, proably not even the BBL The EFL (English Football League) made a detailed statement today to let all supporters know whats happening, what the plans are and what to expect next with watching football. The BBL should take a look at the statement. And realise you need to at least keep supporters in the loop and communicate with them during situations like this. I assume they must have a Plan A, Plan B and Plan C Or maybe I give them too much credit

Or alternatively we are in a fast moving situation (particularly in relation to indoor sport) where advice is changing from day to day and locality to locality and is not within the control of the league.

Yep. Loads of issues to deal with that will change daily Same for all of us in all industries. Sport is no different However, you can only describe the lack of communication from BBL to supporters since Covid began back in March as abysmal Being honest Dave That's not your fault but it has been abysmal We all have customers of some kind and we have to communicate with them at times like this and at least try to keep them in the loop somehow Even if you can't tell them a lot. You can show you care.

I wasn’t a great fan of the Cup ‘pre-season’ format last year, but actually this year I can see doing the Cup first and delaying the start of the Championship providing a lot of options and flexibility in regards to the new season overall.

nobody knows, proably not even the BBL Actually i do have the provisional fixtures. It's not my place to reveal them, and if spam man wants me to he should end his pathetic boycott of my posts. He won't go, anyway, because he's a snowflake who won't accep that the bbl can't absolutely guarantee his safety. But then, no one can. Why do you have them? Why can’t you publish if you do? Are you ok- I was concerned for you after the blog post last night which was very disturbing. Hope you ok

Hope you ok Someone messaged me about that blog post Embarrassing to say the least Ive asked the mods to finally put an end to this ongoing harassment one way or another Unacceptable. And I've done my best myself to avoid it by blocking the guy for months. Which I should never have had to do in the first place.

Because it's provisional, and - as I said - it's not my job to publish it.
I'm fine thanks. It amuses me that people like you who doubt my eve word also make a point of reading them.
