Seven signings and no BBL Rookies yet.
Interesting now as to who will run the point for the Scorchers this season?

From what I’m reading, Connor will take on a lot of the ball handling. Interesting because from what I saw at Sheffield, it was more McKnight and Nick Lewis that ran the point?
A great signing nonetheless. Surrey are just a proper big man away from having a fantastic roster IMO

A great signing nonetheless. Surrey are just a proper big man away from having a fantastic roster IMO That does appear to be the case. Cashaw is certainly comfortable handling the ball, but not a pure point guard I'd suggest. Scorchers have now signed three of last seasons top ten BBL scorers to add to two returnees who averaged 15+ppg. Also three of the top ten rebounders. Whilst that would imply an exceptional rebounding team, I think that is an example of where the stats are misleading. Does though look like a starting five (and six) with a lot of individual rebounding capabilities. Looking at the players signed so far it looks like the key will be Creon. There is some talent there but it needs molding into a unit. That's his job as a coach. I'd expect Henry Wilkins to sign. I think one more player would still be required. Not sure now whether than should be a PG or a Centre. Cashaw has filled the Combo Guard spot I'd suggested previously (along with true Centre and PG). Wright has effectively taken the spot that could have been a true Centre. So maybe we are back to a true PG. I suspect though after Wilkins this will be the last signing apart from some of the youngsters.

Henry will sign again I'm sure - he has been pictured in all the training sessions currently and he had a decent season last year.
I think you might be correct about him being the last signing apart from the fact that he would be (with no disrespect intended) a slightly underwhelming signing to announce as your final addition. I'm hoping that we actually have two more to announce - and I hoe the other one is a true PG !

If fit, would like to see Sol Rolls-Tyson resign as we saw so little of him last season due to injury

Abs just to prove I genuinely no nothing - Wilkins has left the club today. Quite surprised by this. Heavily involved in the community work and always brought some useful energy off the bench

Taken a while, but finally one of the long list of players attending the Bubble has joined the Scorchers. With the current global situation I thought there might be one or two signings that typically you wouldn't expect. Okay, not one of the "big guns" but continues the strategy of a squad that is familiar with the British game.
I wonder if this influenced why Wilkins moved on as there are a number of wing players signed up.
Don't know all the qualification rules now as to whether he qualifies as British or non-import. Is the latter actually EU though anyway?
Is he now British like Lasker for example. I think Hersey has some background on his eligibility in the lower leagues.

Interesting, they already have their 4 USA imports. So I would think he is dual. He has been here a long time.
