Navy blue Vs black jerseys. Doesn't really make it very easy to watch.

as well as the kit colours - the camera contrast amongst other things is not helping
just watched free throws where the onscreen scoreboard added the pt a couple of secs before the picture showed it go in. then on a technical we could just see the lions player on the line and not see the basket to see if he made it or not
now the onscreen scoreboard has not shown any updated 44:42 the commentators say - screen score been stuck at 41:39 for ages now
other than that good to see some live british basketball instead of just watching the constant avail live football

I can only imagine that Vince is the only person who can appoint Lions' coaches

I know the real season hasn’t even started yet but Lions look terrible, not sure whose job it is to decide on the coach but Vince shouldn’t be in the role

I don't think it's Vince. It's the players not gelling as a cohesive unit.

Lions players need proper direction and focus A team that deep and talented should be able to manage more than 7 points in a quarter Plus they couldn`t defend a driving player If Sharks could hit open shots or free throws they would have won by 20 Sharks were the better team

Sharks win pretty comfortably in the end. Close game for 3 quarters but then Sharks stepped up D massively limiting Williams and Robinson who did little 2ndgalf. Lions only had Liggins or Ware going one on one. Not much inside-out play at all. Sharks picked them apart at the other end with patient ball movement.
If Sharks make their free throws...so many misses it's closer to a 20 point win.
Wonder what gob ****e ware will say about this trash Sharks team as he called it in Twitter when we hammered them before too? Yes no Mullins but full team pretty much apart from him and now 2 games, 2 defeats for this so called super team.
As for Sharks...I have criticised Atiba quite a bit in the past but he has recruited well seemingly. Lillard and Nicholls nice players who can do a bit of everything and both can create their own shot. Great guard depth too with Jones and also Campbell. Lewis was cold till the 4th too and Sharks also has players in foul trouble.
Solid defence, good decisions and overall just looked more of a team than Lions talented individuals.
Hopeful Sharks can push for top 4 and a trophy maybe but its very early but nice to have some depth and with wily veterans like Jones, Tuck and Marsden off the bench we have more options than the last few years.

I don't think it's Vince. It's the players not gelling as a cohesive unit. I did hint at this a coupla weeks ago. Big issues in the camp - MBA was right. Jrob playing his worst ball for years. Wants to leave. Players want new coach to come in but not easy due to Corona Caught about half game tonight and London looked unfit and sluggish throughout except for Ware who oozes class

Brilliant response to Ware's tweet calling the Sharks team trash a few weeks ago when they were well beaten in pre season...

You're now claiming that your mate Justin wants to leave! And saying Ware oozes class!!! So far I haven't seen any class worth talking about from him! Not only do you constantly make yourself look stupid with 'in the know' comments which never happen, you're now showing yourself up with crap basketball knowledge! Lions were ****, no arguments. We are not closely the sum of our parts. The big men are inept at the moment and we are so far off being a team it's embarrassing. Liggins is a different class to anyone else at present but it will get put right. I'd guess we'll see some changes over the next couple of weeks but who that will be is difficult to determine & I'm certainly not going to claim to be in the know or be speaking to any members of the team unlike Whatsbevs resident Walter Mitty.

A very scrappy game indicative of early season. I never believed the individual talent the lion’s brought in was particularly worthy of all the hype in the first instance. The 4/5 spot without Mullens is poor especially against honest, smart defence. There is no doubt they will get better as a unit each week especially if JWH and Mullens get back.
The sharks returnees always provides early stability. Lillard was very active but for the most was selfish and often tried to do far too much which will need to be addressed if the sharks are to compete for trophies. Nichols looks a great addition. Defended well 3 through to 5, strong scorer and seemed comfortable in their system. The sharks roster also offers great guard depth which was clear to See along with some real gritty performances throughout.
Certainly an interesting cup group with some further entertainment to come. You tube coverage poor with Mike shaft the only saving grace. Fingers crossed the problems were just a first day hitch.

Has anyone got any (credible) info on the whereabouts of Mullens? I feel Lions might have possibly won the last 2 games if he was on court.

I agree to some extent about Lillard but a pretty outstanding stat line for his debut and love the fact he wants the ball and to make things happen. Sure he will settle down and his interview after the game showed how he was erm...adapting to the refs over here.
Just like the fact him and Kipper were both multi faceted in they could rebound, pass, defend and shoot - but mostly create their own shots - a skill we have not had much at the Sharks.
Sharks are not deep like Lions and other teams but having Tuck, Marsden (know he started last night) and Callum Jones as such steady veterans who make few mistakes coming off the bench is huge.
Koch and Lewis did very little although the latters ankle breaker on Dirk and 4 point play was a big moment in the 4th - so there actually may be more to come from the Sharks but the defence was really good all night really.
I just like the fact the whole Sharks team were more on it and just look a lot more prepared than they have in seasons past.
Gulp - credit to Atiba.
