"The club are the only members of the British Basketball League (BBL) to utilise the “free to view” option..."
Really? Because as far as I know a number of other clubs are doing exactly the same!

Seems a bold statement if not true. Would have thought there was some backing to it? I haven’t seen any news from anyone else but have seen some games already going PPV now preseason is done. It’s a interesting move though and a great one for the fans.

Funny that, I watched the Nix home game against Giants in the cup last week end for free.

Last weekend London, Sheffield and Cheshire all provided free coverage of the games they hosted. That was every game played of the opening weekend outside of the Leicester/Newcastle one. It seems like all BBL teams, with the exception of Leicester and Newcastle (which are operating a PPV service), are providing games free to view so I have no idea why Worcester are claiming they're the only ones doing so.

Trust someone to find the negative in a positive announcement. Worcester may not turn out to be the only organisation which provides free to view coverage, but they are, to my knowledge (which will probably be questioned), the only one to have formally announced that ALL of their home games this season will be free to view.
Surely the main talking point should be that anyone who is interested in the BBL can now stream every home game of one of the best coached BBL teams for free for the entire season. A generous initiative which should be applauded in these difficult times - as should all other organisations who are able to provide a similar service for free.

I'm not finding the negative in a positive announcement, quite the opposite, I don't like how the announcement is negative (saying Wolves are the only team providing free coverage this season) when the situation is positive (a number of teams are actually providing free coverage this season)!!! I also don't like fake news, and it's quite disrespectful to the other organisations and their efforts and generous initiative in providing their fans with free coverage too.

Okay, so please tell us which other teams have formally announced that all of their home games will be free to air this season. Plymouth Raiders website - shows link to the home game with Worcester appearing to be free to air, but no announcement for the full season being this format. London Lions website - no mention of coverage at all. Scorchers website - no mention of free coverage (assume it will be on ScorchersTV). Bristol website - www.bristolflyers.co.uk/news/flyers-launch-ppv-live-streaming-platform/ (this will be PPV according to the website). Leicester Riders - PPV already announced. Newcastle Eagles - PPV already announced. Cheshire Phoenix website- no mention of coverage. Manchester Giants website - no mention of coverage. Sheffield Sharks website - no mention of free coverage for upcoming games. Glasgow Rocks website - no mention of coverage, but has been reported on another thread that £140 covers streaming of all home games. Worcester Wolves website - announcement that ALL home games will be free to view on YouTube (it is not how I would have worded it, but it is currently correct). I accept that many clubs have aired pre-season and some early cup games for free and may yet make announcements of free to view plans for the rest of the season, but it does not appear that any such announcements have been made yet. THREE (four if we count Rocks) clubs have launched PPV platforms now, and I suspect others may do the same. There should, however, be no criticism of organisations who have to go down the PPV route, times are hard and they have to exploit every possible revenue source they can. If other clubs are planning to offer free to view for the entire season, perhaps they should publicise it. After all, the BBL could use all the positive publicity it can get in these trying times.

He tagged them in a video of him driving earlier. I got the impression he’s driving to the arena.
Are Worcester still completely American-less?

Yes. I guess they're waiting on the DCMS cash. Which is always coming next week.

Some of the worst refereeing I’ve seen in the BBL and that is saying something.

Final call there was terrible feel for the game, might have been slight contact but don't think you can call it at that point.
On positive side great to see Josh McSwiggan back in UK and looking fantastic. Hardworking, skilled and humble young man who is fantastic advert for the game.

Not a great last call though. Referee appeared to have signalled the file on Cashaw. It was recorded on Walshe, and the only hand involved was White's who appears to have knocked it away to Walshe. Only way the foul can be on Walshe is if handball is an offence in Basketball!
Wolves certainly deserved the victory though.

It's a classic "call it on the rookie" piece of BS. Proper tefs would let it go tp OT unless it was blatant

But I didn't see anything that could be called a foul on Cashaw. The only person who could have committed a foul was the third man in this trilogy; Skyler. The rules don't say it, but I don't like a game decided on that type of foul Scorchers put themselves in that position by being in the bonus on the back of some incredibly lazy fouls at the start of the quarter.
