Riders won, I think !! The single camera coverage is real amateur hour, real Micky Mouse stuff A 10 year old with a good phone camera could follow the game better Watching players in mid court during a full court press, endless missed plays whenever the ball changes possession, free throws when you can`t see the shooter and goal, corner shots taken when you can`t see the player shooting If we seriously want spectators to pay to watch then please lets see the game, this was not a good advert for any potential commercial sponsor Poor sound from commentators, shockingly bad camera work (Missed breakaway dunks, etc etc) does not encourage me to pay another penny until it gets better The game Lillard didn`t turn up, Hensley will get better once he gets referee respect but we were too slow getting the ball up the floor and gave too much respect to Connor Washington Crandell also seemed to be absent and they clearly miss Mo Walker Come on boys

What a great job by the riders here. Integrating 2 guys into their rotation and system with ease. Rob did a great job scouting for this taking out any threat Lillard and the other guards provides. This gave Nicohols the chance to make an impact early( due to his last 2 dismal performances rob clearly left him out of any scouting) but that was limited and addressed easily. After the half there was little threat from any of the sharks roster. Sharks simply dribble , drive , shoot. There is no system or plays and they really can’t rely on individuals., Riders showed how to rotate players the sharks showed how not too . More importantly they really miss a floor general to provide some direction and structure to their offence. The bench contribution is limited due to this too despite there being some talented guys on there. Unless all the above is addressed wins against the bottom couple of teams like Surrey, Glasgow is the only Ws they will pick up I’m afraid.

Agreed, sharkfan. That coverage was worse than hopeless.
I don't mind Riders winning ugly, if that is what has to be done. Good step up in defence in the second half but generally pretty lucklustre from both sides. Got to say I'm really disappointed by Ali Fraser so far. He can do much better.

Seriously? Fraser integrated? Thought you were being ironic at first. We have a lot of work to do with Fraser to get him up to speed. He looked all at sea except for one strong move close to the basket. I believe he will improve significantly but it needs to happen pretty damn quickly.

He relys on being on the floor for prolonged period to get his rhythm and become productive. So not 100% sure he is the man for the riders although exceptional when he does find his rhythm

Not as comfortable as I thought it would be for Riders so credit to Sheffield for that but in truth they are not deep enough to trouble the top teams. Leicester are nice and well balanced. They can afford a few off nights and still get the job done. I have no doubt that Fraser will be a contributor once he gets used to the system and Rob and then they will be really tough as you'd expect them to be.
